Welcome to the 2026 Eddie Wood Cowtown Classic Sale in Fort Worth, TX!
We are incredibly excited to host each of you for this fantastic sale. As a follow-up to last year’s revitalized sale, the consignors dug deep into their breeding programs to consign an excellent group of cattle. We recruited a great group of sponsors to help us make this year’s sale better than ever!
We are thrilled to continue to be a part of the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. The Stock Show offers an excellent opportunity to showcase our breed in front of the general public and other livestock enthusiasts. We are utilizing some marketing techniques to try and draw some outside interest through the FWSSR.
The sale includes some amazing heifers and you will find many elite cows throughout the lineup. Our goal is to provide a group of cattle that will meet the desires of every breeder. The quality of cattle has never been better, and we are proud to have consignments from breeders who utilize some of the top genetics available.
The Eddie Wood Cowtown Classic is the first sale of the year and the most prominent exposure opportunity for our amazing Texas Longhorns, being a part of this historic stock show. We strive to bring all breeders together to utilize our resources to market the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America and our exceptional cattle to new buyers and the general public in more ways than ever before!
We encourage all TLBAA members to participate in the Longhorn weekend. We are continuing the tradition with all Longhorn weekend events taking place on the Will Rogers Memorial Center grounds! You are invited to attend the Directors Meeting and the Annual General Membership meeting, followed by the TLBAA Special Awards Presentation and Hall of Fame induction on Friday. Come Saturday, we will recognize this year’s two Hall of Fame inductees - Charlene Semkin and John T. Baker, immediately followed by the Eddie Wood Cowtown Classic Platinum Edition Sale. You can also cheer on our youth at the TLBT youth show at noon on Sunday, January 18, in the Watt Arena. On Monday, January 19, the day begins at 9:00 am in the historic coliseum with the Open Haltered classes. The Open Non-Haltered classes and the exciting Trophy Steers follow them.

SELLERS: Must be active members, in good standing of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America.
BIDDING: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder with reserve.
BIDDING DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.
TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash or check to the clerk at the conclusion of the sale. Checks are to be made payable to Huntington Sales, LLC..
POSSESSION: Immediately after the animal is sold, it will be the sole risk and responsibility of the buyer thereof, but possession cannot be obtained by buyer until payment is made.
CERTIFICATES: A TLBAA certificate of registration will be furnished and transferred to the purchaser on each lot in the sale, excluding calves at side.
HEALTH: Individual state requirements should be considered by bidders before purchasing.
BREEDING GUARANTEE: Breeder guarantees are strictly between the individual consignor and the purchaser at the sale. All calves at side are given to the purchaser free and carry no guarantee.
NOTICE: The purchaser must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.
PEDIGREES: The information on the pedigrees of the animals announced has been furnished by the seller.
