2024 TLBT SENIOR HEIFER SALE
Welcome to the 2024 TLBT Senior Heifer Sale!
Thank you for taking your time to come support some of our graduating TLBT Seniors. Each project was carefully selected, cared for and promoted by their consignor. The Senior Sale helps support these young adults, with all funds going directly to the kids. No consignment fees, commissions or the like! We like to think of this sale as a great send-off for our graduating youth to meet their life needs as they go on to a university, trade school, junior college or the like. Thank you kids for spending your youth helping us promote the nostalgic Texas Longhorn.
We also would like to thank Outlaw Cattle Company for stepping up as the title sponsor of the Senior Sale. Be on the lookout for Walker, Bobbi and Halle, and thank them for their support for the youth.
As we did last year, the World Show Committee is happy to bring on the benefit of the TLBA Foundation, a 5013C. Buyers will write a check to the Foundation in the amount of their purchase price, and the Foundation will write a check to the youth. Add-ons or donations will also be handled through the Foundation allowing participants of all levels to also track their support.
So, let’s get down to business. Browse through the catalog, read the notes and please consider supporting these youth at any level. Whether it is an animal purchase, an add-on, or donation – any level matters. We believe this program has fostered the life skill of marketing and animal husbandry. They have all met the time requirement to belong to our association and promoted the breed in those years – their part has certainly been done. So let’s do our part and show these graduating youth our support! Please ask any of us how we can help get you plugged in.

EJS JOVILYNE
DOB: 1/13/23 PH#: 58 Reg: CAI341594
BREEDING: EJS Jovilyne is a daughter out of WP Ax’em Jaxs who goes back to Bwana Chex, Drag Iron, BL Safari Sue and RM Checkered Flag. On the bottom we have EJS Cleopatra who goes back to Star’s Charming Appeal, Starbase Commander, Rutledge’s Pretty Woman and Hi 5’s Peoples Choice. Jovilyne has the color, structural correctness, tracking, and overall a good disposition. Jovilyne will be put out with my junior herd sire, Classified Docs between 4/30/24- 6/11/24. My plan is to have her confirmed bred before the TLBAA World Show.
SHOWING RECORD: Jovilyne has exhibited every single show that I have gone to, in both shows and futurities. In TLBAA events, she has shown in 12 youth shows with 11 in the top ten with two firsts, 1 Jr. Champion and two Reserve Jr. Champions. In the Open, she has been in the top ten in five of seven shows with one Reserve Jr. Champion. She has also competed successfully in ITLA, CTTLA, futurities and numerous jackpot shows.
COMMENTS: Jovilyne is a total package heifer, not only does she have the good body structure, the disposition, color, correct legs, good hooks to pins and horn but she would be a great addition to anyone’s herd. Jovilyne’s current horn measurement is 38.875” TTT and 43” Total on April 14, 2024. My senior sale heifer is from my own herd. This heifer is special to me, but not just because she is my senior sale heifer, but because her mother was my first show heifer. Her mother, Cleo, was born on my ranch and I have kept most of her offspring When it came time to choose my senior sale heifer I knew Jovilyne was the one.
