...will continue supporting our youth programmes and will constantly dialogue and consult them in matters of their welfare...

on. Kaloki has been championing for recognition of our youth and women and their empowerment. Our youth are key stakeholders in development and as such their challenges range from unemployment to education acquisition. So far, Hon Kaloki has been able to purchase motorbikes for their income generating activities and sponsored some of them to courses like mechanics and driving in order to enable them to get employment. He has also been able to secure formal employment for 258 persons in the last four years and has recommended 1268 persons to various organizations and Companies. Close to 200 constituents have so far been recruited into teaching jobs by the Teachers Service Commission, 20 to the Police Force and 15 to the Armed Forces. Kaloki has continued to informally employ our youths when constructing roads and CDF office has employed more than 10 youthful persons while our local Constituency Office has 4 employees contracted by the Parliamentary Service Commission. Our Youths at the Universities and Colleges continue to get bursary annually. I will continue supporting our youth programmes and will constantly dialogue and consult the youth in matters of their welfare. At the NYS, Kaloki has sent hordes of our youths for

training while the American Embassy is undertaking training on matters of responsibility. Kaloki will continue supporting our youth programmes and will constantly dialogue and consult them in matters of their welfare. Prof. Kaloki's strategic intent for the youth and women empowerment has managed to:„ Identify resource persons and organizations that can provide different types of training. „ Facilitate resource mobilization training for the youth/disabled and women in the constituency. „ Enhance sustainable agriculture, leadership roles and promotion of peace for development. „ Facilitate the training of CBOs to ensure good leadership, positive group dynamics and organizational development. „ Develop a comprehensive database and directory of Kibwezi professionals. „ Establish a structure and mechanism for the effective engagement of Kibwezi professionals. „ Promote career development through scholarships and internships „ Use sports as an entry point for youth empowerment and leadership development. „ Identify skills and potentials amongst diverse stakeholders particularly amongst youths and people with disability.
