ALUMNI CORNER Alumni Expansion Program promises to bring better communication between Undergrad, Volunteer and Alumni As with any young Sigma Phi Epsilon Chapter, it is difficult to create a concrete system that involves alumni and volunteers with the undergraduate chapter. However the Texas Chi Chapter is growing ever closer to its tenth year of dominance at the Texas A&M University Corpus Christi campus and believes we need the input and guidance of a strong AVC. The VP of Communications and the current District Gover nor, Bill McClausland have developed an Expansion program that focus’s on the basics to regain the alumni connections that were lost over the years. To start, we have created a new and improved website that allows Alumni and Undergraduates alike to communicate with each other at any given time and allows Alumni that have moved out of the South Texas community an opportunity to reconnect with lost brothers and stay involved with the local chapter. The second aspect that
is critical to the expansion process is word of mouth. We ask that all alumni search through old contacts and old phone cards to contact brothers from there years here at TAMUCC. With those details in mind it is not only important to reconnect Alumni but revitalize there interest in the chapter through events such as Texas Chi Founding Day, Homecoming, National Founders Day, and other Alumni events. As of now we are currently setting up for our Local Founding Day event which will be held Sunday Sept 12th, 2010 and an Alumni Meet & greet during our Fall recruitment on Sept 15th
