ARCT 254 STUDIO II Instructor: Julia Kirton Objective: To design a habitat of no more that 100 sq ft. that will promote the recharging of the mind, body and soul. A place of rest and relaxation that allows campers to rejuvenate overnight for the day ahead. Strongly consider the connection with the land.
Dripping Springs For this project we went up one of the trails that Drippings Springs has to offer. Upon arriving to our camp site we have to discover what kind of plants grown, what kind of animals live in the area, and look at anyother piece of inspiration for our design. I chose the Red Hawk for my concept. i used the shape of the hawk’s beak and the way thier wings open and close. I envisioned a hawk covering its head for protection.
