By Bruce Rittel, this product will actually preserve and tan everything from starfish, lobsters, antlers in velvet, bird feet, bird wings, and many other difficult skin areas. It has all the qualities Formaldehyde has but this is not a carcinogen.
For protection of hair, fur and feathers from moth and other insect damage. Safe and easy to use, will not wash out. Used for new mounts or existing mounts and is wiped into the hair or added to the sawdust in the fur drum. Not water soluble.

Protex Pre-Soak
Masters Blend Kit - Original
A water soluble compound for protection of hair, fur, feathers, fins and scales from moth and other insect damage. Also cleans and conditions hair. This product is used as a last rinse in the tanning process and in the rehydration bath prior to the mounting. This is an excellent deterrent against insects.
Used by some of the leading bird taxidermists for injecting bird feet. Masters Blend is a combination filler, coating and bonding agent. Very thin for good penetration and holds natural color in feet. Reduces shrinkage and sets in 3-5 mintues! Will accept any type of paint and works pretty much like hardwood.
