In 2010 (Junior): Abbey appeared in 11 games recording two hits, two walks and an RBI… named to OVC Commissioner’s and the TTU Athletic Director’s Honor Rolls. Before Tech: Abbey played at Volunteer State CC in Gallatin, Tenn., where she was named first-team all conference her freshman year and third-team all conference her sophomore season...hit six home runs while driving in 35 RBIs on 35 hits as a freshman...batted .348 her second season with a .442 on base percentage and drove in 31 RBIs. High School: An all-district player at Donelson Christian Academy, Abbey hit .377 in her senior year with 16 RBIs in 23 games. She also had 26 hits and a home run to her name.
