Body Image “Developing a positive body image and a healthy mental attitude is crucial to a woman's happiness and wellness.” Body Image means different things to different people. To some it means that they have a perfect body you wouldn’t change anything about it, but for some it means they hate the way they look and they want to change everything that they don’t like. Some girls are so concerned they go to extreme measures like when they become bulimic or anorexic. This is never a good thing to do to your body. I am kind of proud of my body but kind of not. I like my eyes and my hair but I hate my body. It can also mess with your self esteem. If you are always looking at everything wrong with you. You will never feel pretty and give you a bad attitude but if you look at what you like about yourself you will always be in a good mood which is a good thing. Having a good self esteem is always a good thing to have it can make a bad day turn good.

3rd period

A lot of celebrities have positive body images. America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Miley Cyurus, Tyra Banks. Just to name a few. But some of them have negative body images Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jane Fonda, Paris Hilton just to name a few of them. Negative body image is when your brain makes you think you look one way when it looks completely different. Also when you have convinced that everyone can see what you see is wrong with completely with yourself. You may also feel completely awkward in your own body. Positive body image is when you have a good perception of your body and its shape. You celebrate and love your natural body and its shape. When you are proud of your body and love to show it off. It is very common to struggle with your body image. Some days you might feel like you have an ugly body and you hate the way you look and just want to stay inside all day and not let anyone see you. But other times you might feel you have perfect body and you love the way you look and you want everyone to see how you look and tell everyone how you feel.
