Junior FROGY - C’mon, Let’s Bowl! Sunday, November 13 4:00 - 6:00 pm Pinz 110 S. Main St., Milford Cost: $20 per child, includes bowling, shoes and a snack. Parents - please come, stay and play! Saturday Morning Torah Study November 5, 12, 19 December 10, 17 8:30 - 9:30 am at the Temple Building Join the Rabbi and others as we discuss the Torah. Come for the bagels; stay for the learning! Texts provided. Stop by after Hebrew School!!! No coupon required! TEC will receive 15% of their total sales that night!

Annual Franklin Interfaith Service of Thanksgiving Sunday, November 20 7:00 - 8:30 pm Hosted by Temple Etz Chaim at the First Universalist Society of Franklin 262 Chestnut St., Franklin This year, Temple Etz Chaim is hosting the Annual Franklin Interfaith Service of Thanksgiving. The service will include musical selections by the Interfaith choir, including members of our own TEC Choir. There will also be reflections, readings, and prayers to help us focus on this season of Thanksgiving. Please join us in welcoming our fellow houses of worship. We will also be hosting the Kiddush after the service. Please go to Sign-Up Genius and help make this a special evening.

4:00 pm at Temple Etz Chaim Hats, scarves, mittens and socks are great shorter projects. Sweaters or afghans or perhaps try some color work or knitted lace. Baby gift items are fun too! And of course Hanukkah gifts are a great option. We have lots of patterns, including a couple of challah covers.

We welcome any interested knitters regardless of skill level. Prior knitting experience not required; we will provide instruction. No RSVP necessary. New knitters need no materials; we have yard and needles to share - all you need to bring is you! For more information contact Sue Cass.

Gift Wrapping Fundraiser at Barnes & Noble The holiday season will be here before we know it! Once again, Temple Etz Chaim Sisterhood will have a table at Barnes and Noble in Bellingham. We are looking for volunteers to help sit at the table and gift wrap for Barnes and Noble shoppers. You don’t have to be a sisterhood members to sign up… you just need to know how to wrap. Brownie Mix Collection for Families in Need The Academy and Confirmation class of Temple Etz Chaim's religious school is asking for your help. We are collecting brownie mix for the Interfaith Council's Thanksgiving Day collection for families in need. We are asking each family to donate 2 boxes of brownie mix. Boxes for the collection can be found at the temple building and the lobby at religious school. We will be collecting up until November 2nd. Thank you for assisting our teens in this effort. It’s Latke Time! Cost: $10 per dozen Deadline: December 8 Pickup date: December 18 Hanukkah is coming and it is almost latke time! Would you love to take some latkes home to enjoy with your family during Hanukkah? Now is your chance! We are taking orders of Hanukkah latkes, made by TriCounty Regional Vocational Technical High School, to be picked up at Religious School Sunday, December 18th. Reheat and enjoyed in your home at your convenience! Latkes will be made, frozen, and packaged by the DOZEN to be taken home and reheated. Order today be emailing Jenn Eagerman.

Youth Group News What is Jr. FROGY? Glad you asked! It's a great opportunity for the children to get to know each other beyond the school setting and build relationships that they can carry forward into FROGY and elsewhere. Junior FROGY is open to Temple members who are in 6th - 8th grade and there is no fee to join. The only cost is that of each activity and lunch or snacks. Who do I reach out to with questions? Junior FROGY is Chaired by Pam Giordano, under the guidance of the Temple Etz Chaim Youth Commission. You can reach us at jryouthgroup@temple-etzchaim.org, or you can call Pam directly – 508-813-4990. What other events will we have? Save the date for JOSTY Shul-In. Saturday, January 21 to Sunday, January 22 at Temple Ohabei Shalom in Brookline, MA. We will travel into Boston for an overnight, activities, interactive fun and hanging out with Junior Youth Groupers from Temples all around Massachusetts, Rhode Island and beyond. More to come!!!
