Teme Valley Market

SUMMERTIME is here at

Blue Tits, Robins, Nuthatches and many more Wild Flower Napkins etc And of course our beautiful Silk Flowers! Held on the 2nd Sunday of the month, from 11am to 1.30pm, the Teme Valley Market at The Talbot at Knightwick provides plenty of choice for foodies and regular shoppers alike. The market started in 1998, when ‘Farmers’ Markets’ were something of a rarity, with four stalls in what was the Talbot’s old ballroom. Described as an ‘authentic’ market, where producers can sell direct to the public on a regular basis, it has now grown to around thirty stallholders. These days a large market ‘tent’ is erected between the pub and the river, so if the weather turns wet there is at least some cover to help keep things dry. With lots of ‘food to go’ (or take home) and with lots of tastings on the stalls, you stood a very good chance of finding something delicious! With The Talbot also being open, you could even enjoy a late breakfast, then browse the market, and then perhaps stay on for lunch, and maybe even sample one or two of the Teme Valley Brewery’s own beers!

Call in... You won’t be disappointed! CASA PORTUGUESA
