THE BLETCHLEY PARK NEWSLETTER WINTER 2018

SCHOOL OPENING ON TRACK

Construction of Southern Grove Primary School, located opposite feature parkland on Lockway Road, is approaching the final phase of development. The school, which already provides kindergarten and pre-primary classes, is on schedule to open its doors to all children up to Year 6 from February 2019. An initial enrolment of 259 students is expected, with children set to benefit from a range of outstanding facilities including cutting edge ITC infrastructure, outdoor learning areas, a fully equipped canteen, library and a sports oval and hard courts.

INTRODUCING... DALE MILES Residents and visitors may have spotted a new face out and about in Bletchley Park in recent weeks – our new Sales Manager Dale Miles. Dale has been with Urban Quarter for several years, having previously looked after our Springtime estate in Haynes. With over 25 years of property industry experience he brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and understanding of the land buying and building processes – qualities that enable him to offer invaluable support to new residents moving to the estate. “I am so happy that I have been given the opportunity to market this amazing estate with its outstanding parks, lake and school facilities,” he says. “With the market showing early signs of an upturn, now looks like an ideal time for buyers to make their move while prices remain soft. There are some great deals to be had from homebuilders at the moment too. Quality homes that may have been out of reach a few years ago are now affordable, giving people the chance to make their property dreams come true.”

PARKS & RECREATION

A further addition to the estate’s already impressive collection of landscaped park areas is currently under way in the Lane Gardens precinct. The works, which are being carried out by our partners at Phase3 Landscape Construction, include extensive planting and the construction of new footpaths and retaining walls. A play area is incorporated into the landscape plan, with a pendulum swing, slide and sand play zone among the features designed to keep the little ones entertained. There will also be a soccer goal and turfed

area for World Cup stars of the future to hone their finishing skills. Picnic tables and seating areas will be included too. “Ensuring an appropriate balance between housing and public open space has always been an integral part of our vision for Bletchley Park,” says Urban Quarter General Manager, Stuart Reside. “This new facility demonstrates our ongoing commitment to this principle as well as our continued desire to deliver an environment that elevates family living to a level that is unmatched in the region.”
