Interact with companies during your education! In the Master’s programme in Computational Science and Engineering, we will provide you with great opportunities for your future career. During your entire training, you will be able to cultivate a relationship with co-operating companies. You may apply for an internship, a summer job and the possibility to do your degree project. Following your degree, you will have furthered your possibilities for a future career track, perhaps in the same or a similar company.

WORK WITH COMPLEX SYSTEMS AND BIG DATA Computational Science and Engineering is widely used both in scientific research and advanced industrial development, for example for model building and analysis of data from different experiments. It often combines several different disciplines including computer science, numerical analysis, applied mathematics, physics, biology, and economy. During your training, you will learn how to work with complex systems and large data sets. The first year if the Master’s programme consists of four blocks of courses in modeling, simulation and numeric methods that will provide the foundation for your further studies. Your studies during the second year will give you the opportunity to specialize. Select one of three profiles; parallel programming, financial mathematics and advanced computer graphics, each finalized with a one-semester full time master thesis at a company or within a scientific research group. When you start your training, you will also learn how to write a convincing CV, a skill you can make use of when applying for a summer internship with one of the co-operating companies, and for securing your thesis project at the end of the second year.
