Industrial Ball Mills As the name suggest, industrial ball mills are especially intended for industrial use and much larger as compared to vertical and horizontal ball mills. Their size may vary from refrigerator to a bus. Industrial ball mills are always horizontal. The larger unit has multiple chambers that force material to move continuously inside drum. The multiple chambers are separated through screen between them. Each chamber has balls smaller in size. Screen controls the different chambers together so that balls should not be mixed inside chambers. Material is forced from one chamber to other automatically for fine grinding.
