60s party a big success By The Social Committee The recent Christmas Party hosted at the beautifully decorated Hotel Maiyango was a huge success, with all guests saying how much they enjoyed the event. The raffle tickets raised a massive £481 for this year’s charity Rainbows, adding to our growing total. More dress down days and social events are planned for the New Year, so watch this space!
Workload: with the market falling in January & July last year and then the subsequent upturn in prices, it meant that a lot of work was needed looking after our customers’ contracts and risk positions. I am pleased that everyone dug deep and that efforts were made around the business to ensure that the needs of our clients were met – thank you to you all. Business: we are now in Q3 of our financial year and so far the business has performed well and we are on the way to meeting our
targets and therefore opening the various end of year triggers for performance reviews. In 2012 we brought in over 20 new clients, which is very positive, some of which have needed immediate actions to write their business. This is good news for the future, however we need to be vigilant in maintaining strong relationships with all our clients as our marketplace continues to be extremely competitive! The new clients we have signed up over the last year include; Baxters Healthcare (15 European sites), Camping and Caravanning Club (140 sites), Sports and Leisure Management (75 sites). Thank you again for your continued hard work and support.
