Asia’s Premier Railway Event Returns to Malaysia

THE CONFERENCE The conference attracts up to 120 delegates, including up to 50 members of the Asian Railway Operators Association. This comprises delegations of up to five Senior Managers, sent by 10 of the region’s leading railway operators



Site Visit

MORNING SESSION Days 1 & 2 Conference papers presented by Asian Railway Operators, on Projects & Planning giving detailed information on upcoming projects. Also papers by some of the world's leading railway companies and consultants on the latest technological developments.

AFTERNOON SESSION Day 1 Three simultaneous workshops with presentations given to Senior Managers from Asian Railway Operators on the following subjects:

A maximum of six topics will be discussed during each two-hour workshop. The conference is open to non-AROA members, through payment of a delegate fee of £495 GBP

MORNING – DAY 3 SITE VISIT A site visit to a local railway facility will take place on the Friday morning.

The Asian Railway Operators Association AROA is a group of S E Asian urban and mainline railway operators and is designed to;  provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information  promote awareness of new technologies  highlight, address and respond to the challenges facing rail-bound transportation in Asia. The AROA Annual Congress is held in conjunction with Rail Solutions Asia and is the highlight of the AROA year. Senior Managers from railway operators across Asia will converge for three days of unrivalled opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of the railway industry. It provides a chance for Managers of Permanent Way, Rolling Stock, Signalling, Communications, Operations & Maintenance to meet and network with their counterparts from around the region. The emphasis of the association is very much on the sharing of expertise and experience for the mutual benefit of all members. Through participation in the Annual Congress members have an unequalled opportunity to contribute to and learn from their wealth of collective knowledge. With conference papers and specialist workshops, plus many of the world’s top railway suppliers on show, this is an event not to be missed by any railway operator, who wishes to develop their staff’s knowledge and improve their service to the travelling public.

MEDIA KIT 2012 tdhrail is an A4, English language, trade magazine published four times a year and is dedicated to the Asia Pacific railway industry. It covers all aspects of railway activity across passenger and freight systems and is the official journal of the Asian Railway Operators Association.
