MTB Ellipse Crank sets The concept of RIDEA Ellipse Cranksets is based on the oval chainring designs that reduce the teeth and the diameter of the tangent points of the outer (big) chainrings near the dead spot zones, which maximize the torque power and minimize the effects of the dead spot zones. In contrast, by increasing the teeth and the diameter of the tangent points of the outer (big) chainring at the dead spot zones, torque power can be maximize to produce the maximum power outputs.
