completing this diagnostic •• Work on your own. If you get help from books or someone else it will mislead your teacher, who chooses the learning material especially for you. •• Answer all the questions you can. It doesn’t matter how little or how much you do as long as you show us what you are capable of. •• Keep going even if you come across things that look unfamiliar. Allow yourself plenty of time. You may need up to two hours before you’re sure you’ve done all you can, but don’t worry if it takes longer. •• When you have done all you can, complete the cover sheet and send this booklet and the CD or tape to your teacher or email your MP3 file. •• Your teacher will not be correcting your work in detail, but you will receive feedback on any revision you might need to do. To complete the rest of this diagnostic booklet you need recording facilities.
