A Day at TCS Summer Camp

Every summer, campers of ages 3 – 14 explore different themes such as Outdoor Explorers, Inventor’s Workshop, and Artbotics and go on adventurous field trips to places like the Chattahoochee Nature Center, Jumpstreet, and Laser Quest to keep hands moving and brains buzzing all summer long at The Children’s School.

Thanks to highly-engaged counselors and community partners such as Home Depot, our summer camp experience is filled with discovery, excitement, curiosity, and experiential learning.

“We build strong relationships between our campers, counselors, parents, and the community. Summer camp at TCS provides an experience that helps the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and cultural development of each camper,” said Kareemah Abdullah, Extended Day and Summer Learning program liaison at TCS.

The camp’s daily routine is filled with opportunities for children to participate in activities that are based on the particular camp session theme. Art, music, science, cooking, language and literacy, water play, and sports (both competitive and noncompetitive) are also integral parts of the daily schedule.
