Hello and welcome to our quarterly update on the Rangeville Property Market Welcome to the Summer 2011/2012 edition of the Rangeville Market Report – keeping you up-to-date with property prices in your suburb. It is currently a very challenging market. There is no doubt that there is activity, but buyers are not afraid to give tough offers. Investors are looking for a rate of return of at least 6%. The majority of the enquiry is coming from the newspaper at the moment, whereas this time last year the majority of our enquiry was coming from the internet. Talking to Valuers, Rangeville house prices have dropped approximately 10% in the last 12 months.

Another rate reduction by the Reserve Bank would be greatly welcomed to further stimulate the market, but if forthcoming the next challenge would be whether the banks pass it on. Till the next report.
