EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (ECE) 2023-2024

Welcome to Tri-City Christian School Early Childhood Education program. I am honored to partner with you in your child’s educational journey and help them become a spiritual champion! A strong connection between home and school will allow us to work together, synergistically, to help your child flourish- academically and spiritually Although I am an administrator, I am first and foremost a parent, so please know I understand the challenges and fears associated with sending your precious child to school.
I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching children and educating young adults throughout my twenty-five years in the field. My career has taken me from the public school setting, to a college campus, to owning my own ECE consulting business wherein I spoke to and trained multiple schools across San Diego County Being called to serve as the Director of TCCS ECE was not something I anticipated, but God placed Proverbs 22:6 upon my heart and caused a shift in how I view public education. It has been humbling and a tremendous joy to be in this role and I look forward to partnering with you in the upcoming year.
Katie Donahue ECE DirectorPlease join us on Monday, August 14th for our parent orientation. This is a vital step towards ensuring we have a strong connection between home and school. By working together, we will make your child’s academic journey more impactful and enjoyable. We want to ensure you are fullyinformed, prior to the first day of school. To that end, we will be covering pertinent information as well as answering any of your questions. This is a mandatory meeting, so if you are unable to attend, alternative arrangements must be made through the ECE office.
When you arrive, please drop-off your child in their classroom, so they can meet their new teacher and friends. Once they have been signed in, please join me in the chapel for the orientation. Light refreshments will be served. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
