When you promote out a new Generation 1 Leader from your Central Team, you are eligible to have a period of time to build back your Central Team. To do this, from the month in which the new Leader promotes plus the following month, you have a lowered Central Team Points Volume to achieve. As long as you meet all other Rank requirements and the build back Central Team Points Volume you will be Paid As your Rank and achieve the relevant bonuses.
When you promote out a new Sapphire Vice President or above from your Central Group, you are eligible to have a period of time to build back your Central Group. To do this, from the month in which the new Sapphire Vice President or above promotes plus the following month, you have a lowered Central Group Points Volume to achieve. As long as you meet all other Rank requirements and the build back Central Group Points Volume you will be Paid As your Rank and achieve the relevant bonuses.

Your Total Group includes everyone in your business.

PCV is the volume attached to each product that is used to calculate Consultant Discount & Personal Sales Bonuses. All products carry a designated PCV value that Consultants earn through their purchase and sale of those products. PCV is calculated in each market based on the SRP/RRP of that product. PCV may be reduced or removed for specific products, product specials and product sets. Starter Kits, Business Tools, Host Reward redemptions, and all non-commissionable products have no Personal Commissionable Volume.
TCV is the volume used to calculate Central Team & Generation Bonuses. All products carry a designated TCV value that Consultants earn through their purchase and sale of those products. TCV is calculated in each market based on the SRP/RRP amount that the product was sold for, less any local sales tax. TCV may be reduced or removed for specific products, product specials and product sets. Starter Kits, Business Tools, Host Reward redemptions, and all non-commissionable products have no Team Commissionable Volume.
Each of The Body Shop products carry a designated numerical Qualifying Points Volume that is used to calculate qualification, maintenance, incentives and recognition. QPV is standardised across all markets and is not related to a specific currency or selling price. Starter Kits, Business Tools, Host Reward redemptions, and all non-commissionable products have no Qualifying Points Volume.
Personal Volume (PPV) is based on the accumulated Qualifying Points Volume (QPV) from products purchased using the consultant discount, personally sold via the Consultants Personal Website or placed in the Consultant Business Hub in a Calendar Month.
Central Team Points Volume (CTPV) is the combined Personal Points Volume (PPV) of each Consultant in your Central Team in each Calendar Month. A Central Team Points Volume requirement needs to be achieved in order to earn Downline bonuses at a particular rank. Your Personal Points Volume is included in your Central Team Points Volume. Silver Leaders and above are excluded.
Central Group Points Volume (CGPV) includes the combined Personal Points Volume (PPV) of each Consultant in your Central Group in each Calendar Month. This includes your Central Team Points Volume and all the Leaders including their Central Team Points Volume, excluding any Sapphire Vice Presidents and above and their Downlines.
Total Group Points Volume (TGPV) includes the combined Personal Points Volume (PPV) of each Consultant in your Total Group. This includes your entire Downline in each Calendar Month.
The 20% discount that is applied to the recommended selling price of The Body Shop products when a Consultant places a personal Consultant order and makes payment in the Consultant Business Hub. This discount may be reduced or removed for specific products, product specials and product sets. Starter Kits, Business Tools, Host Reward redemptions are non-discountable products. This discount is applied at purchase in your home market currency.
The 20% rebate that is paid to the Consultant of the Personal Commissionable Volume (PCV) of The Body Shop products when a Customer places an order via the Consultant Personal Website or an order is placed in the Business Hub on behalf of the customer at recommended selling price. This rebate may be reduced or removed for specific products, product specials and product sets. Starter Kits, Business Tools, Host Reward redemptions are non-commissionable products. This rebate is paid weekly in each market/currency where the original sale was made.
A sliding scale of an additional 5% to 15% Bonus based on the total Personal Points Volume (PPV) of a Consultant in a Calendar Month. These bonuses are calculated against the Personal Commissionable Volume (PCV) that The Body Shop products were sold for. The % is determined on your total PPV at the end of the calendar month. This bonus is calculated monthly by each market/currency where the original sale was made. It is then converted and paid back to the Consultant in their home market currency. Conversion is based on The Body Shop's current exchange rate.
A Central Team Bonus is applicable where a Consultant achieves a Paid As rank of Star Beauty Consultant and above. Central Team Bonuses are calculated on Team Commissionable Volume (TCV) where the original sale was made. It is then converted and paid back to the Consultant in their home market currency. Conversion is based on The Body Shop's current exchange rate. If you do not have a Global Business Account you cannot receive bonus payments on any sales outside of your Home Market.
A monthly bonus paid to all Paid As Leaders calculated on the Team Commissionable Volumes (TCV) of each individual Downline Leader and their Central Team that is positioned in generations 1 to 4 in your downline leadership structure. The number of Generations on which payment will be received depends on the Leaders Paid As Rank for the current month. Generation Bonuses are calculated on Team Commissionable Volume (TCV) in each market/currency where the original sale was made. It is then converted and paid back to the Consultant in their home market currency. Conversion is based on The Body Shop's current exchange rate.
A Bonus paid to Double Sapphire Vice Presidents and above calculated on the Team Commissionable Volume of each Downline Leader and their Central Team that is positioned in Generations 5 and below. The Bonus will be paid down to where a Downline Double Sapphire Vice President or above earns their Generation 5 Bonus. The bonus cannot therefore be paid to more than one person.
Generation Bonuses are calculated on Team Commissionable Volume (TCV) in each market/currency where the original sale was made. It is then converted and paid back to the Consultant in their home market currency.
Conversion is based on The Body Shop's current exchange rate. If you do not have a Global Business Account you cannot receive bonus payments on any sales outside of your Home Market.
A bonus paid monthly to all Paid As Ruby Group Leaders and above. This bonus is different at each Level of the Compensation Plan. Bonus paid in the local currency of your Home Market. The recommended usage of the Business Development Bonus for Ruby Group Leader and above is to assist them with the costs associated with training their team, developing their business support and business expenses such as hosting training.
Conditions:
1. Business Development Bonus is available each time a Consultant is Paid As a Ruby Group Leader or above in a calendar month.
2. This bonus is paid in the local currency of the Consultant Home Market only.
3. Consultants can only earn the applicable bonus for the rank they are Paid As in the month.
A bonus paid to Paid As Diamond Presidents and above on each of their Paid As Sapphire Vice President or above Legs. This bonus is paid in Home Market currency.
A bonus paid to Paid As Double Diamond President and above on their Paid As Double Sapphire Vice President or above Legs. This bonus is paid in Home Market currency
A bonus paid to Paid As Triple Diamond President and above on their Paid As Diamond President or above Legs. This bonus is paid in Home Market currency.
A Bonus payment that is paid the first time a new Leader Rank is achieved. This Bonus can only be achieved once per Rank. This payment is paid over a set period of months depending on leadership rank achieved regardless of start date. It will be paid in each applicable month listed below when the Paid As Rank is achieved for the specific Leader Rank Title Advancement Bonus payment. If the Paid as Rank is not achieved in a month listed below the bonus payment for that month will not be paid and cannot be received.
Conditions:
1. Leader advancement bonuses are only available the first time a Consultant reaches a new rank.
2. A Consultant is only eligible for the applicable local currency bonus amounts in their Home Market.
3. The bonus will be paid over a set period of months. To receive your monthly payment you must be paid as the applicable rank or above in that month. If you fail to be Paid As applicable rank the monthly payment is missed and that particular monthly payment will not be paid, however any subsequent payments can still be achieved in the set time period for payments of this bonus.
4. Promotion month will be considered as month 1 and payment will be credited in the monthly commission.
5. If a Consultant achieves the Accelerated Leader Advancement Bonus at the same rank, this supersedes the Leader Advancement Bonus. Only one of these bonus types can be earned per Rank achieved.
6. Consultants can achieve multiple LAB/ALAB payments simultaneously. If a further rank advancement is achieved within the payment period of any previously achieved LAB/ALAB both/all payments will be credited as long the Consultant is Paid As the highest title achieved.
When you progress through the Leadership levels of the Compensation Plan, there are bonuses available along the way to reward you for your progression. A Leader Bonus payment that is paid the first time a new Leader Rank is earned, when that Rank is earned in a specified period of time from the Consultants start date. This Bonus is paid over a set period of months depending on leadership rank achieved. It will be paid in each applicable month listed below when the Paid As Rank is achieved for the specific Leader Rank Title Advancement Bonus payment. If the Paid as Rank is not achieved in a month listed below the bonus payment for that month will not be paid and cannot be received.
Conditions:
1. Accelerated Leader Advancement bonuses are only available the first time a Consultant reaches a new rank within the designated timeframe.
2. The set period of time to achieve an ALAB starts the 1st of the month following the enrolment date. However the month of joining is also counted and can be a qualifying month. Example: if your enrolment date is 21 January, the set period of time commences 1 February, however January can also be a qualifying month.
3. A Consultant is only eligible for the applicable bonus amounts in their Home Market.
4. The bonus will be paid over a set period of months. To receive your monthly payment you must be Paid As the applicable rank of above for such month. If you fail to be Paid As applicable rank the monthly payment
is missed and that particular payment will not be paid, however any subsequent payments can still be achieved in the set time period for payments of this bonus.
5. Promotion month will be considered as month 1 and payment will be credited in the monthly commission.

A Consultant must place an accumulated 125 in Personal Points Volume within any one month within a 6 month rolling period to maintain an open active account. Please refer to the account maintenance explanation for more information.
All Consultants who have achieved 125 Personal Points Volume (PPV) in a calendar month.
A single Leg of business where at least one Consultant has been Paid As Beauty Consultant or above.
A single Leg of business where at least one Consultant has been Paid As Silver Leader or above.
A single Leg of business where at least one Consultant has been Paid As Sapphire Vice President or above.
A single Leg of business where at least one Consultant has been Paid As Double Sapphire Vice President or above.
A single Leg of business where at least one Consultant has been Paid As Diamond President or above.
A Consultant who is Terminated from the business and has a Downline underneath them. The Downline will be Adopted by the first Consultant above them.
Central Team
All Consultants in a Leader’s Team excluding all Silver Leaders and above and their Downlines but including the Leader. Your Central Team includes Consultants from all markets regardless of your Global Business Account status.
Central Team Breakaway
When a Consultant in your Central Team promotes to Silver Leader or above they ‘breakaway’ regardless of the title you hold. Their Personal Volume and Central Team Volume are no longer included in the upline Leader’s Central Team Volume. They remain in your genealogy as ‘breakaway’ or Downline Leader.
Consultant
A Consultant is anyone who has a registered account with The Body Shop At Home™ in any open market. Under this definition, the term Consultant refers to and includes all Independent Consultants, Leaders, Vice Presidents & Presidents regardless of their rank.
Consultant Business Hub
The Consultant Business Hub is the website that all Consultant’s access to view and manage their business.
Build Back - Central Team (Consultant)
In the Month of and the Month following the Promote Out of a new Leader from a Consultant’s Central Team, the Consultant’s Central Team Paid As Volume criteria to promote to Silver Leader is reduced to enable them to regain their Central Team Volume.
Consultant Personal Website
The Consultant Personal Website is a website with a unique URL for each individual Consultant. This website can be used to enrol new Consultants and sell products to customers. Any products sold on the Consultant’s Personal Website will be sold at the local RRP/SRP value and the Consultant will earn a Personal Website Rebate.
Build Back - Central Team (Leader)
In the Month of and the Month following the Promote Out of a new Leader from an existing Leader's Central Team, the existing Leader's Central Team Paid As Volume criteria is reduced to enable them to regain their Central Team Volume. Please note that requirements are different for Diamond President and Double Diamond President. The Leader in Build Back can also promote to a higher rank using a central team build back requirement if all other requirements are met.
Demote/Demotion
When a Consultant/Leader does not meet their Rank Maintenance criteria in the specified time allowed for their Rank, they will be demoted. Their new Rank is effective the 1st of the month following the last month of the Rank Maintenance period. This Rank will be the highest Paid As Rank they had qualified for in the rank maintenance period.
Business Development Bonus
Calendar Month
A bonus paid monthly to all Paid As Ruby Group Leaders and above. This sum is different at each Level of the Compensation Plan.
The Calendar Month commences at 12:00:00am Pacific Standard Time on the first day of the calendar month and closes 11:59:59pm Pacific Standard Time on the last day of the calendar month.

Your Central Team and all the Leaders including their Central Teams within a Leaders Downline, excluding any Sapphire Vice Presidents and above and their Downlines. Your central group includes Consultants from all markets regardless of your Global Business Account status.
Downline
Your Downline is made up of all Consultants who you personally sponsor or inherit and everyone who is sponsored or inherited by any of your Consultants without limit to depth or title (i.e.: You sponsor Lisa, who sponsors Jane, who sponsors Jack).
Central Group Breakaway
When a Consultant in your central group promotes to Sapphire Vice President or above they ‘breakaway’ regardless of the title you hold. Their Personal Volume, Central Team Volume and Central Group Volume are no longer included in the upline Leader’s Central Group Volume. They remain in your genealogy as ‘breakaway’ or Downline Leader.
First Level
Every Consultant who is directly below another Consultant in a line of sponsorship.
The Position a Leader and above has in a Downline relative to the Leader above them.
Generation
Whenever a Consultant in your Downline achieves the rank of Silver Leader or above, they breakaway to form their own Central Team, Group or Total Group, depending on the level achieved, and become part of your 1st Generation. At this time, the promoted Consultant, their entire Downline, and their total Personal Points Volume are no longer considered part of your Central Team.
Every Leader or above who is directly below another Leader.
Paid As
The Paid As rank is based on the highest Rank at which a Consultant has qualified for in a calendar Month based on the monthly rank requirements. The Paid As Rank may be the same as or lower than the Consultant’s Recognition Rank due to not achieving some or all of the requirements of that Recognition Rank.
Generation 1
Lisa sponsors Jane. Jane promotes to Silver Leader and breaks away from Lisa’s Central Team. Jane is now Lisa’s Generation 1. Jane sponsors Jack. Jack promotes to Silver Leader and breaks away from Jane’s Central Team. Jack is now Jane’s Generation 1 and Lisa’s Generation 2.
This will continue as more Silver Leaders promote from each Generation.

Any Consultant who is immediately below another Consultant, this may be different to their Enroller.
Grace Period
When a Sapphire Vice President or above is Paid As their Recognition Rank for a consecutive 9 month period they will accrue 1 Grace month. Subsequently, if they do not qualify Paid As in any month they will automatically be paid at their recognition Rank and the Grace month will be used. One Grace month may be accrued in each rolling consecutive 9 month period up to a maximum of 3 months.
Promote/Promotion
When a Consultant achieves all the criteria required to be promoted to a higher Rank in a calendar month. New Ranks are confirmed in the first week of each month when the commission process has been completed.
Global Business Account
A Global Business Account is the upgrade of a Consultant account in order to both sell and sponsor in markets outside of their Home Market and earn retail discounts and bonuses in other markets that The Body Shop At Home™ trades in and are approved as part of the program. In order to open a Global Business Account, a Consultant must first achieve Silver Leader rank in their Home Market then agree and sign into the Global Business Account Agreement and Policy. The criteria required for a Consultant to Promote to a new Rank.
A position in the structure of the Compensation Plan. Can also be referred to as title.
A Consultant must have met the relevant requirements by the end of the calendar month for them to be Paid As their Recognised Rank.
Home Market
The Market where a Consultant resides and signed their Consultant Agreement.
Leader A Consultant who holds the title of Silver Leader or above.

A single line of business coming directly from a Personally Sponsored Consultant or Adopted Consultant.
The position a Consultant has in a Downline relative to the Consultant above them.
The Body Shop At Home™ trades in multiple Markets. This refers to each country where you can trade your business if you have a Global Business Account.
Recognised Rank
A Consultant must be Paid As Rank at least once in a set number of rolling months per Rank to retain their Recognised Rank. See Rank Retention months on page 23.
The highest Rank a Consultant holds during a month and retains for a designated timeframe as detailed in the Rank Retention requirements. This could be higher than the Paid As Rank for that month.
Roll Up
When a Consultant is terminated from the business their Downline will Roll Up to the Consultant immediately above the Terminated Consultant. The Consultant/s that Roll Up will now be considered “Adopted” by their upline Consultant. This can also be referred to as compression and occurs regardless of Consultant home market.
Sapphire Vice President and above – When the Personal points Volume, the Central Team Points Volume, the Central Group Points Volume and the Total Group Points Volume criteria for the current Rank are met but the other criteria including Paid As Leader Legs are not, the Sapphire Vice President or above will be paid at one Rank immediately below their current Recognised Rank.

The date a new Consultant account is created by The Body Shop At Home™ after completing the enrolment journey.
When a Consultant Agreement is ended by either notification from the Consultant or by The Body Shop. If a Consultants account is terminated, their downline will Roll Up and cannot be re-instated.
All Consultant and Leaders within a Leaders Downline including Sapphire Vice Presidents & above.
Total Group
Your Total Group includes Consultants from all markets regardless of your Global Business Account status.
Upline A Consultant’s sponsor, along with their sponsor, and so on.
