OVERVIEW This document provides a comprehensive guide to The Body Shop At Home™ USA Compensation Plan for the USA and all associated structure, bonuses and information for senior levels from Sapphire Vice President. In addition, detailed examples of each Bonus criteria have been included, alongside worked Bonus calculations. These should be used when reviewing the detailed information about each Compensation Plan Title and the potential earning opportunities associated with each Compensation Plan Rank. It’s an exciting and progressive structure designed to recognize and support the different levels of personal aspiration each Consultant has, whilst facilitating business growth and rewarding achievement.

This plan includes sales volumes and business structure requirements; it provides a supportive framework that directly connects the level of personal commitment you make to your business to the earning opportunities and financial rewards you can achieve. This approach allows every Consultant to take control, to decide how to drive their business to successfully achieve their personal goals and income aspirations.

With fourteen levels in the Compensation Plan (this booklet features the top six) each level features different sales and business structure requirements along with different levels of bonus payment, rewards and income opportunities.

SAPPHIRE VICE PRESIDENT

SAPPHIRE VICE PRESIDENT Sapphire Vice Presidents will have successfully helped a minimum of 7 Consultants in their Central Group become Silver Leaders. Sapphire Vice Presidents will demonstrate leadership skills, confidently develop Downline Leaders and support and empower Leaders in their business to develop new Leaders.

CENTRAL TEAM BUILD BACK REQUIREMENTS When you promote out a new Generation 1 Leader from your Central Team, you are eligible to have a period of time to build back your Central Team. To do this, from the month in which the new Leader promotes plus the following month, you have a lowered Central Team Volume to achieve. As long as you meet all other Rank requirements and the build back Central Team Volume you will be Paid As your Rank and achieve the relevant bonuses.

TRIPLE DIAMOND PRESIDENT Triple Diamond Presidents will have successfully helped a minimum of 2 Consultants in their Central Group become Silver Leaders and have developed a minimum of 2 Sapphire Vice Presidents, 2 Double Sapphire Vice President and 2 Diamond Presidents. Triple Diamond Presidents will lead their Downline by identifying talent in their business, developing Downline Silver Leaders, supporting their Leaders and Presidents to develop new Leaders and Presidents.

CENTRAL GROUP BUILD BACK REQUIREMENTS When you promote out a new Sapphire Vice President or above from your Central Group, you are eligible to have a period of time to build back your Central Group. To do this, from the month in which the new Sapphire Vice President or above promotes plus the following month, you have a lowered Central Group Volume to achieve. As long as you meet all other Rank requirements and the build back Central Group Volume you will be Paid As your Rank and achieve the relevant bonuses.

TITLE ADVANCEMENT BONUSES

TITLE ADVANCEMENT BONUS (TAB) When you progress through the Leadership levels of the Compensation Plan, there are bonuses available along the way to reward you for your progression. This bonus payment is available when a first time new Leader Rank is achieved. This payment is only ever paid out once per new Leader Rank.

This bonus payment will be paid over a time period in equal monthly payments as stated in the table below. It will be paid each month when the Paid As Rank is achieved for the specific Leader Rank Title Advancement Bonus payment. If one month is not achieved the bonus payment for that month will be forfeited and cannot be received.

TITLE ADVANCEMENT BONUSES

ACCELERATED TITLE ADVANCEMENT BONUS (ATAB) When you join The Body Shop At Home™ you can accelerate your progression through the Leader Ranks. When you achieve a New Leader Rank in a set period of time as stated in the table below you will achieve the Accelerated Title Advancement Bonus (ATAB). This bonus replaces the Title Advancement Bonus (TAB). This bonus payment is available when a firsttime new Leader Rank is achieved in a set period of time. This payment is only ever paid out once per new Leader Rank.

This bonus payment will be paid over a time period in equal monthly payments as stated in the table below. Adopted

Generation 5 Bonus

A Bonus paid to Double Sapphire Vice Presidents and above on the Central Team Sales of their 5th Generation Leaders and below. The Bonus will be paid down to where a Downline Double Sapphire Vice President or above earns their Generation 5 Bonus. The bonus cannot therefore be paid twice

Grace Period

When a Sapphire Vice President or above is Paid As his or her Recognition Rank for a consecutive nine month period he or she will accrue 1 Grace month. Subsequently, if he or she does not qualify Paid As in any month he or she will automatically be paid at his or her recognition Rank and the Grace month will be used. One Grace month may be accrued in each rolling consecutive 9 month period up to a maximum of 3 months

Leader

A Consultant who holds the title of Silver Leader or above

Leg

A single line of business coming directly from a Personally Sponsored Consultant or Adopted Consultant

Level

The position a Consultant has in a Downline relative to the Consultant above them

Month

Non-Qualified Rule

Sapphire Vice President and above – If the Central Group Sales and the Total Group Sales criteria for the current Rank are met but the other criteria including Paid As Leader Legs are not, the Sapphire Vice President or above will be paid at one Rank immediately below their current Recognized Rank

Paid As

The Rank a Consultant has qualified to be Paid As in the current month, which is dependent on his or her Sales, Central Team Sales, Central Group Sales, Total Group Sales, Active Consultant Legs and Paid As Leader Legs

The total amount of retail and other sales achieved by a Consultant in a month

Promote/Promotion

When a Consultant achieves all the criteria required to be promoted to a higher Rank. All new Ranks are effective immediately

Qualification

The criteria required for a Consultant to Promote to a new Rank

Rank

A position in the structure of the Compensation Plan. Can also be referred to as title

Rank Maintenance (To be Paid As)

A Leader must have met the relevant requirements by the end of a month for him or her to be Paid As his or her Recognized Rank A Leader must be Paid As Rank at least once in a set number of rolling months per Rank to retain their Recognized Rank • Silver Leader, Gold Leader, Platinum Leader = 3 Months

Rank Retention (To Retain Rank)

Recognized Rank

The highest Rank a Consultant holds during a month. This could be higher than the Paid As Rank for that month

Renewal

Renewal applies to a Consultant who has previously been a Consultant within the last 12 months. As soon as they place Personal Volume of $125 or more in a month they will automatically become a Beauty Consultant. Any Consultant that does not renew and become a Beauty Consultant within a rolling 12 month period will be Terminated

Roll Up

When a Consultant is Terminated from the business his or her Downline will Roll Up to the Consultant immediately above the Terminated Consultant. The Consultants that Roll Up will now be considered “Adopted” by their upline Consultant. This can also be referred to as compression

Terminated

When a Consultant’s Agreement is ended by either notification from the Consultant or by the company

Title Advancement Bonus

A Bonus payment that is paid the first time a new Leader Rank is achieved. This payment is only ever paid out once per new Leader Rank. Accelerated Title Advancement Bonus will supersede Title Advancement Bonus when the new Rank is achieved in the set time for Accelerated Title Advancement Bonus to apply
