HIGHLIGHTS T i m e l e s s L a n d s c a p e s & Tr e a s u r e s Few things live up to the hype. But everything you hear about Tuscany is true. It’s not a destination. It’s an experience. Rides lined with cypress trees overlooking the patchwork vineyards below will stop you on your bike. And no view will compare to that view. Until your round the next bend and see another. And that’s only what you’ll see; imagine the wines and flavors you’ll experience.

TRAINING TIPS A J o u r n e y F o r Th e A v i d C y c l i s t First and foremost, get out on your bike and start logging some miles. If you are currently unable to cycle outside, we highly recommend taking spin classes. They are usually structured to maxamize your training time in class and provide great indoor/ off-the-bike training. However, we strongly suggest that you continue to get on your bike as much as possible—nothing compares to the real thing—as elements of wind, actual climbs, terrain, etc. are virtually impossible to simulate inside.

General Guidelines: Calculate your weekly mileage and increase it by 10-12% per week

Plan to do the short mileage/rest day(s) following the high mileage day(s)

Include one higher mileage day, one long and slow recovery day, and at least 1-2 rest days.

Keep the intermediate mileage days between the short and long days and approach them at a good pace.
