The Easter Opportunity

W

ith all that’s going in the life of our church I expect this Easter to be very special. Easter is the greatest opportunity we have all year long to reach people with the Gospel. I would encourage you to be part of all that is happening and I would also ask you for a favor. I would like for every member of Trinity to serve during our Easter weekend in one of two ways. First, you can serve by bringing someone who is not a member and making them feel welcome. You can bring them or meet them and get them from place to place and perhaps even take them out for an Easter lunch. Second, you can serve as a worker: pre-school, children, greeter, usher etc. Often on Easter our desire to be in the service causes us to not want to serve. The problem is that Easter, more than any other time, is when we need servants willing to sacrifice their desires so others might come to know Christ. I promise that if you will serve so someone else might be blessed you will be blessed immeasurably!

Operation Census Cayce Every Saturday between now and Easter we will meet for training at 9am and go out from 10-12. The goal is to meet the people in our community and find out how we can better serve them as a church. We have already been blessed by those we have met, and we have already begun to pray for the requests that have been shared. Please come and be part of this awesome opportunity to impact our community for the Kingdom of God!

Dan the Animal Man! Dan Breeding is Dan the Animal Man. On April 4th through 6th, Dan will be going into our local schools and inviting students and their families to come to our campus on April 6th for an incredible event where he will use the wonder of creation to present the Gospel. This is one of those “Don’t miss it” opportunities. I can’t wait to see what God will do! Find out more at: www.DanTheAnimalMan.net

Meet Trinity’s Music Pastor! Hello, Trinity Baptist family! We are so excited to join God in what He is doing there in Cayce and to become a part of your family. Cindy and I have spent much time in prayer and seeking God’s will through His Word and the wisdom of other Christians. We are convinced that God is orchestrating this move for us and are trusting in His care. It has been overwhelming to see how He has also prepared the hearts of our three daughters, Julie, Jenna and Jillian. We have a God who cares about the details of our lives and we are so grateful! Thank you for the way you all welcomed us on the weekend of March 12th. We had a marvelous time with the choir, praise band, orchestra, and staff, and worshiping with you on Sunday was beautiful. You have a great staff and wonderful ministers! Their love for God and for you has been evident in our every conversation. Please pray for us in this transition time as we are also praying for you. Again, we look forward to being with you, worshiping our great God with you, and walking through life with you. Colossians 3:15, 16 – “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” (NIV) Singing His Song,

Jeremy, Cindy, Julie, Jenna and Jillian Hansard

WPHM 73.1 “We Praise Him” We are preparing for our Easter services so invite others to join us. Easter is the most exciting time of the year. It is why we are Christians. Someone will be there to greet you and get you what you need. We want to fill the choir for Easter!
