Trinity’s Newest Pastor! Dear Trinity Baptist Church,
Olivia and I are so excited to have an opportunity to be a part of what God is doing at the church I consider “home.” Thank you so much for your prayers and encouraging words as we sought to follow God’s leadership throughout this process. I’m especially thankful for all the staff at Trinity, the personnel committee, our youth leaders and students. Most importantly, we are thankful for God and his Word that has given us all the direction that we could ever ask for. Philippians 4:6-7 taught us, “6Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” God’s affirmation about this decision has continually grown in our hearts over the months leading up to last Sunday. We could not be more confident in what we believe is God’s leadership in bringing us back to South Carolina to help make a difference for His kingdom. We are looking forward to serving along side you very soon!

Grow What You Know!
If you would like to attend, call the church office (791-0440) or email Pastor Jim Smith, firstname.lastname@example.org or Cynthia Scheeser, Grow what you know is our theme for the fall. The concept is simple. email@example.com First, grow yourself. Take time to develop your own spiritual walk. This growth may mean spending more time in the word. It may mean an extended prayer schedule or maybe memorizing a Bible passage. Second, grow your family. There will be many chances this fall for you to grow as a family, including a family discipleship class on Sunday nights designed to help you understand God’s will for your family. There will be family worship guides in the bulletin to aid families desiring to grow together during the week. Third, grow your ministry. We have asked every member at Trinity to serve somewhere. So, wherever you are serving (Sunday School, Choir, Greeter etc.) pray about how you can grow in that Become a Trinity fan on Facebook ministry. Finally, help grow our church by intentionally reaching out to the unand get daily updates about all churched around you. So what we’re asking that is going on at Trinity. is for you to “Grow what you know”.

Preschool Ministry Have you shared God’s love with a child lately? What a better opportunity than now to come and join our Preschool Ministry! We have children from birth all the way up to Kindergarten, so there are many opportunities to help out and step in. The children are enthusiastic and eager to learn. We are still seeking several Sunday School teachers (11 am) and Sunday night helpers (5-7 pm). We are always looking for energetic people to help with the Preschool Worship as well (serving once every seven weeks during the regular worship hour). If you feel God calling you to minister to our youngest and most precious gifts, please contact Kristine Hoskins at 546-2537 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to have you on board!
