X-Gen VR Virtual Reality Centre opens at Merseyway N

ew virtual reality centre, X-Gen VR, has opened its doors at Merseyway Shopping Centre with a range of state-of-the-art virtual reality games and experiences. Located on Deanery Way, the futuristic attraction takes virtual reality to the next level, offering the latest technology for gamers to enjoy. Created by Stockport entrepreneur Gareth Mee, X-Gen VR features a VR arcade including motorbikes, go-karts and Gatling Guns for up to 8 players at a time, along with luxury private rooms offering an unrivalled 3m x 3m play space to maximise the enjoyment of the latest virtual reality experiences and games. Visitors will pay an entry fee for 15, 30 and 60 minute sessions, with prices starting from £9.99. Victoria Nichol, Centre Manager said: “We couldn’t wait for X-Gen VR to open its doors! The centre will bring a new experience for our shoppers and we’re confident it will be a popular destination, bringing new footfall to Merseyway.” Gareth Mee, founder of X-Gen VR said: “I’m really excited to open my first VR Centre in Merseyway. We want everyone to enjoy an experience here and we can’t stress enough that VR is not just for gamers - there’s plenty for families and groups of friends to enjoy including our luxury VR rooms which feature a range of experiences from action and horror to puzzles and art.
