Welcome to Worship on this Labor Day Weekend! Labor Day is a federal holiday observed on the first Monday in September celebrating the economic and social contributions of workers. It was first nationally recognized in 1894 to placate unionists following the Pullman Strike. Today, the holiday is generally viewed as a time for barbecues and the end of Summer vacations. Today is Sunday, the Lords Day. I pray that we have all “gathered in His name to worship Him” and may His Glory be revealed in our individual lives and collectively. I pray that you have had a wonderful Summer of recreation and restoration in your relationships with God and family. May the remainder of this year be filled with God’s glory for each of us as we seek Him with our whole heart. In His love,
