The current average asking price of a one bedroomed house or apartment in Didcot is £142,623 with an average rental income of £695pcm. The average current yield if you purchased a one bedroomed property today in Didcot would be 5.8% return. This compares with a current two bedroomed property where average asking price is £215,951 with an average rental of £840pcm, deriving a return of 4.7% yield. These are just averages, and I believe there are specific deals which will give higher than this, but as a guide, we can see the one bedroomed property potentially can offer the best returns.
