LOT 1 DOWN THE HIGHWAY (IRE)

5yo, B, Geld, Duke Of Marmalade (IRE) – Petit Moselle (IRE) (Sadler’s Wells (USA)) Down The Highway made his debut a winning one when taking his fiveyear-old maiden at Cragmore in February. Ridden prominently behind the leader, Down The Highway always looked to be travelling well where he quickly asserted clear to lead and held a strong advantage before the final fence. Staying on well to the line, this eye-catching gelding held onto a comfortable six length victory in what was testing conditions. Down The Highway is out of a full-sister to the Listed placed Leitmotiv as well as being from the family of Group one winner Fabulous Queen. Down The Highway displayed a nice blend of both speed and stamina and this five-year-old looks set to further add to this winning family when he makes his progression to park racing.

LOT 3 THE GLANCING QUEEN (IRE)

4yo, B, Mare, Jeremy (USA) – Glancing (IRE) (Kayf Tara (GB)) The Glancing Queen heads to the sales following her debut success at Horse and Jockey in a competitive four-year-old mares’ maiden. Tracking the leaders for most of the race, the Colin Bowe-trained mare progressed to lead approaching the final fence and was strongly challenged at the final fence but found plenty under pressure to hold off her closet rival and go on to win by three quarters of a length. The daughter of the ill-fated Jeremy is closely related to the Grade one winner Operating and this exciting mare looks the sort that will be a real addition to any trainer’s yard in mares’ races over the coming seasons.

LOT 4 BUBBLES OF GOLD (IRE)

5yo, B, Geld, Gold Well (GB) – Bubble Bann (IRE) (Hubbly Bubbly (USA)) Bubbles Of Gold made his debut a winning one when taking his fiveyear-old maiden at Lingstown. Ridden in mid-division for much of the race, the son of Gold Well quickened to join leaders from the third last fence where he then disputed the lead until after the penultimate fence which saw him storm clear of his rivals to record an eight length success for the Sean Doyle yard. The decisive winner produced the second fastest time of the day in a race that had some previously placed runners. Bubbles of Gold is out of a half-sister to the dual Grade three winner Vintage Treasure as well as being from the family of the Galway Hurdle winner Cloone River and the recent Grade three chase winner Doctor Harper. Bubbles of Gold showed a likeable attitude and looks like a horse that could be a real money spinner for his new connections.

Sams Profile highlighted himself as a game and tough individual who is bred to develop into a smart track sort which makes him an exciting addition to the sale.

4yo, CH, Geld, Beat Hollow (GB) – An Banog (IRE) (Anshan (GB))

The Hollow Chap made a massive impression when taking his four-yearold maiden at Tinahely in February. Always close to the pace, the Colin Bowe-trained gelding travelled strongly on the final mile and took up the lead from the third last fence where he was then challenged by some fast finishing rivals but battled gamely in the closing stages to make a winning debut. This eye-catching son of Beat Hollow produced the quickest time of the day which was 10 seconds quicker than average that day. This athletic individual is a half-brother to the Grade one Cheltenham Festival Arkle winner Western Warhorse who also won his point-to-point for the same connections and is out of a half-sister to the former nine-time and Grade 3 winner Mr Baxter Basics as well as being from the family of the former Grade one winner Somersby. The Hollow Chap is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track and looks to be a high class addition to the catalogue who should be added to every serious short list.

5yo, gr, Mare, Flemensfirth (USA) – Moskovo (IRE)(Montjeau (IRE)) Moskovite ran out the convincing winner of the Mares bumper at Thurles on 22 February for trainer Denis Hogan and looks a high class Mare in the making. The 5yo daughter of Flemensfirth who is the second produce of the dual Grade 2 winner MOSKOVA travelled powerfully throughout the race and improved to take up the running turning into the straight and quickened away to score in impressive fashion staying on all the way to the line. She had previously made the perfect start to her career when scoring on her debut run in the 5yo Mares Maiden point-to-point at Killeagh in January but was subsequently disqualified. That day she made smooth progress from off the pace to pick up the running before the second last. She then stayed on to win in nice fashion going away at the line.

4yo B, Geld, Westerner (GB) – Sarahall (IRE) (Saddlers’ Hall (IRE) Port Of Mars made the perfect start to his career when landing the Open Maiden point-to-point at Brocklesby on 17 February. The 4yo son of Westerner always caught the eye in running and jumped well throughout. He made notable headway after the 14th fence and took it up two out before staying on well to assert in the last furlong. Out of a half sister to WHAT A WARRIOR he looks to posses all the credentials to progress into high class track performer.

LOT 9 BEYOND APPROACH (IRE)

4yo, B, Mare, Jeremy (USA) – Gonebeyondajoke (IRE) (Footstepsinthesand (GB)) Beyondapproach ran a cracker when second on her debut in a strong maiden at Tinahely in February. Ridden patiently throughout, the daughter of Jeremy, jumped and travelled strongly throughout and joined the leader at the penultimate fence where she kept on gamely in the closing stages in a maiden which clocked the quickest time of the day which was 10 seconds quicker than average of the day. This eyecatching mare produced a strong display against geldings` and appeared to relish the drier underfoot ground conditions. Out of halfsister to the former Grade one winner Won In The Dark, Beyondapproach is also from the family of some exceptionally talented Group one winning mares which includes Melodist and Love Sign. Having posted such a strong run, this exciting mare lost little in defeat and looks to have the potential to develop into smart track performer and also a black-type mare.

LOT 10 ANDY DUFRESNE (IRE)

4yo, B, Geld, Doyen (IRE) – Daytona Lily (IRE) (Beneficial (GB)) Andy Dufresne posted a high class display on his debut run when he took the four-year-old maiden at Borris. The Jamie Codd-ridden winner crept into contention and appeared to be traveling strongly turning into the home straight where soon took over the lead and injected another burst of speed over the final two fences to win by an eased down six lengths at the finish. It is unsurprising that he posted the quickest time of the day which was 16 faster than the day’s average. From the Gordon Elliot yard, who sold another smart son of Doyen at last year’s Cheltenham Festival sale in Rapid Escape, the leading trainer appears to have another highly talented youngster on his hands. Andy Dufresne is out of the hurdle winner Daytona Lily and is a half-brother to Clondaw Sam who also won his maiden at Borris before going onto register further success on the track. Andy Dufresne proved himself to be something special and combined with his mix of both speed and stamina he displayed on his debut, he looks to have the potential to develop into a high class horse on the track.

LOT 11 BREWERS PROJECT (IRE)

4yo, B, Geld, Aizavoski (IRE) – Shaylee Wilde (IRE) (Old Vic (IRE))

Brewers Project created a big impression when winning at Ballyarthur on his debut. The Donnchadh Doyle-trained winner led from the off until being headed after a mile before he regained his lead again before the penultimate fence and jumped the final two fences impressively which allowed him to put his rivals under pressure and asserted clear on the run-in to win by five lengths. An eye-catching horse in the paddock, Brewers Project is by the exciting young sire Aizavoski who has now had two winners from three runners so far this season. Brewers Project is from the family of the Grade one placed O'Muircheartaigh. Other notable names within his family include the Listed hurdle winner Celtic Chief. Great confidence has to be taken from this performance that he is a potentially classy sort who looks like he could develop into an exciting youngster on the race track.

LOT 12 ONTHEROPES (IRE)

4yo, B, Geld, Presenting (GB) – Dushion (IRE) (Dushyantor (USA)) Ontheropes made a very promising debut at Punchestown in February when finishing second to the highly regarded Madiba Passion in a competitive four-year-old maiden. Ontheropes was ridden in middivision for much of the race and was unlucky to run into some interference before the fourth last where he soon regained his position and progressed to the runner-up spot on the run-in where he made a notable error at the final fence which cost him further lengths. To his credit he then rallied well in the closing stages to just lose out by a head at the finish. The Denis Murphy-trained son of Presenting is from the family of the Grade one placed Gentle Buck. Having posted such a strong run, this well-bred gelding lost little in defeat and is a very likeable youngster with a lot to offer it seems.

4yo, B, Geld, Stowaway (GB) – Zenaide (IRE) (Zaffaran (USA)) Feel My Pulse made a massive impression when taking his four-yearold maiden at Lismore in a race which has a tradition for producing top class horses such as Florida Pearl. Leading from flag-fall, the Donnchadh Doyle-trained gelding travelled strongly throughout and always held a commanding advantage over his rivals where jumped from fence to fence impressively before further quickening clear after the final fence to win by a comfortable 15 lengths. As a result it was little surprising to see that he produced the fastest time of the day which was 21 seconds faster than the days average. Out of the bumper winning mare Zenaide, Feel My Pulse is a half-brother to the Listed mares' hurdle winner Myska as well as the smart three-time bumper winner Daring Carlotta. He is also from the consistent winning family of Puffin Billy and The Railway Man. This eye-catching gelding looks to have an ideal blend of speed and stamina which leads one to suggest that he should prosper at black-type level on the track.

LOT 14 TIPPINGITUPTONANCY (IRE)

4yo, Ch, Mare, Stowaway (GB) – Dyrick Daybreak (IRE) (Ali-Royal (IRE)) Tippingituptonancy made an exciting debut at Horse and Jockey when finishing second to the impressive The Glancing Queen in a competitive four-year-old mares’ maiden. The good looking daughter of Stowaway led for much of the race before being headed after the penultimate fence. Rallying well in the closing stages, Tippingituptonancy created a strong challenge to the eventual winner by staying on strongly on the run-in only to finish three quarters of a length behind the winner in a race that produced the second fastest time of the day. Out of the talented Grade two winning mare Dyrick Daybreak, she is also a half-sister to Mr Whipped who won his maiden this weekend 12 months previously before going onto take a Grade two in his first season under rules.Having posted such a strong run, this well-bred mare lost little in defeat and looks to have the potential to develop into smart track performer and also a black-type mare.

LOT 15 MINELLA BEAT (IRE)

5yo, B, Geld, Beat Hollow (GB) – Tear Drops (IRE) (Beneficial (GB)) Minella Beat made his debut a winning one when taking his five-yearold maiden at Lismore. Disputing the lead for much of the race, Minella Beat was headed before the final fence but regained the lead on the runin where he ran out a comfortable 12 length winner. The son of Beat Hollow jumped well throughout and showed a willing attitude in the closing stages to secure a decisive win. Minella Beat is out of the bumper winning mare Tear Drops and is also from the family of the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up On His Own as well as the exciting mare Redhotfillypeppers. LOT 16 FAUSTINOVICK (GB)

4yo, B, Geld, Black Sam Bellamy (IRE) – Cormorant Cove (GB) (Fair Mix (IRE))

Faustinovick made a very promising debut at Borris when finishing second to the highly regarded Andy Dufresne in a competitive four-yearold maiden. Faustinovick was ridden in mid-division for much of the race before making progress on the final mile where he chased the leaders until going second at the penultimate fence and rallied well on the runin to take the runner-up spot in a race that clocked the quickest time of the day which was 16 seconds faster than the day’s average. The Derek O’Connor ridden runner-up is from the family of the former three-time Cheltenham Festival winner Inglis Drever. Having pulled clear 12 lengths clear of his nearest rival, Faustinovick has shown himself to be a decent youngster that is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track and could have a lot to offer to new connections.

LOT 18 LONG AFTER DARK (IRE)

4yo, B, Geld, Flemensfirth (USA) – Vindonissa (IRE) (Definite Article (GB)) Long After Dark made his debut a winning one when taking his fouryear-old maiden at Kirkistown in what was extremely testing conditions. The son Flemensfirth made it a pillar-to-post victory and was challenged strongly on the run to the final fence but kept finding for pressure and picked-up once again to win going away to see off his nearest rival by four lengths. Long After Dark showed an admirable attitude to pick up as strongly as he did in such conditions to record another win for his handler Colin Bowe in this age category. Long After Dark is from a strong Grade one winning family as he is out of a half-sister to the Thisthatandtother, Carlingford Lough and The Tother One. This scopey winner is from a talented winning family and from the attributes he showed on his debut, he highlighted himself as an exciting sort that should be added to all serious short lists at the sales.

LOT 19 UMBRIGADO

4yo, Br, Geld, Stowaway (GB) – Dame O’Neill (IRE) (Dr Massini (IRE)) Umbrigado made a very promising debut at Ballyarthur when finishing second to Brewers Project in a competitive four-year-old maiden. The Aidan Fitzgerald-trained runner disputed the running for much of the race before being headed at the penultimate fence where battled gamely on the run-in to finish just five lengths behind the potentially high class winner. The son of Stowaway is a half-brother to the Listed placed Templeross as well as being from the family of the Grade one winner Clopf. Umbrigado is a very exciting youngster that is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track and could have a lot to offer to new connections.

LOT 20 SINORIA (IRE)

5yo, B, Mare, Oscar (IRE) – Petralona (USA) (Alleged (USA) Sinoria made her debut a winning one when she took her five-year-old mares’ maiden at Borris. Racing in mid-division until the final half mile, the daughter of Oscar found herself behind a wall of horses but when the field turned into the home straight Sinoria soon quickened through to dispute the lead where she combined a super jump at the final fence to secure a comfortable three length win for the Richard Black yard. One of two newcomers in the race, Sinoria is from a stellar black type family as she is a half-sister to the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Minella Rocco as well as the former Cheltenham bumper runner-up, Pressgang as well as being from the family of the dual Group one winner Workforce and the Cheltenham festival Grade one hurdle winner Cinder and Ashes. Sinoria proved herself to be something special and looks to have the potential to develop into a smart track performer and also a black-type mare.

LOT 25 KOOTENAY RIVER (IRE)

4yo, Ch, Geld, Dubai Destination (USA) – Siwaara (IRE) (Sinnariya) The 4yo son of Dubai Destination created a huge impression on his debut when running out the 20 length winner of the Open 4,5 & 6yo Maiden point-to-point at Hackwood Park on 11 March. The Francesca Nimmo trained gelding always caught the eye in running and and made headway at the eighth fence, quickened to lead after 3 out and went clear to win by 20 lengths in most impressive fashion. He looks a very talented performer and a big future lies ahead of him.

LOT 26 FIRST ACCOUNT (GB)

4yo, B Br, Geld, Malinas (GER) – Kind Nell (GB) (Generous (IRE)) First Account made his debut a winning one when taking his maiden at Belclare, the same maiden which three-time Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Best Mate won. Prominently ridden from the off, the good looking son of Malinas progressed to dispute the lead for much of the race where y he created a strong gallop which most of the field were unable to maintain. Travelling strongly into the home straight, the Colin Bowetrained winner further quickened clear of his rivals where he went onto score a six length victory. It is unsurprising that he produced the quickest time of the day which was 13 seconds faster than the average for the day. This exciting sort is from the family of the Cheltenham festival placed Potters Cross as well as Morley Street and Granville Again. First Account is a decent youngster that is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track and could have a lot to offer to new connections.
