Economically Innovative • Transform the economy to take advantage of new technologies. • Save jobs by a forestry restructure and enable regional development by approving the industryendorsed Tasmanian Forest Agreement. • Focus on the needs and concerns of small businesses: collective marketing, electronic infrastructure, and appoint a Small Business Commissioner. • Generate wealth through renewable energy schemes and projects. • Introduce an innovation program in the state public service to improve services and efficiency. • Encourage community-led development projects that are viable, beneficial and sustainable.

Socially Progressive • Provide services for seniors to enable older Tasmanians to remain independent for as long as possible. • Advance the Gonski education reforms and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). • Focus on preventative health and improving mental health treatment. • Renew the Legislative Council so it is more accountable and responsive to the community and restore the House of Assembly to 35 MPs. • Ensure equality under the law, including allowing everyone to have the choice to marry the one they love.
