(top) - this model was constructed to exhibit knowledge of creating a three dimensional model from autocad elevations.

(right) - these images were massed to display the usage of exterior lighting and seperate sky settings.


(top)- this model is a replica of the storage hangar in edmonton on 11760 109 St NW and was created for the arct2230 class to excercise using digital photos and using them as textures. it was accepted by the google earth data base may 2013 and can now be viewed by anyone.

(right) - this model was created in sketchup to demonstrate the use of irender textures and lighting components.

(top) - this poster was devised using adobe illustrator cs6 for a competition to generate attraction to "impressions night", and was an honourable mention amongst the finalists.

(left) - "casa de zoe" was created using adobe illustrator cs6 on personal time printed on canvas as a gift to a client.


all images on this page were rendered using adobe photoshop cs6 and demonstrate using alternate programs to augment skills using creative suites, such as adding reflections and entourage.

these images are early design massings created early in the design process for the canadian western bank design competition using sketchup. these images display creative thinking and artistic development used to create a three dimensional product.


these images are bubble diagrams created using adobe illustrator in the early stages of floor plan design in order to increase functionality and mobility within the bank design.

CANADIAN WESTERN BANK COMPETITION the fourth ANNUAL DESIGN COMPETITION HELD FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED AT NAIT FOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY, THIS COMPETITION WAS DESIGNED TO TEST THE RATIONALITY AND CREATIVITY OF STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM, AND ALSO ENCOURAGED STUDENTS TO EXPLORE SUSTAINABLE FEATURES IN THEIR DESIGNS.

modelling

this model built as a tourist center for the residents of fogo islan d, newfoundland. the design was inspired by the curvature of the waves, the ribcage of the native whales, and the lobster traps that surround the culture of the people occupying the island. this model is made of task board, white tape, white spray paint, and colored plastic laminate paper.

this house was constructed to further education in the construction of residential housing and to expand on the basic principles of constructing models by hand. materials consisted of foam-core board, matte board, cotton balls, and colored paper.

this birdhouse was devised to meet the criteria of a "client" the northern flicker. this project was constructed out of matt e board and all painted colors are hand applied on the model, and alcohol -based markers hand rendered on the presentation board.

this model was erected as an introductory project to revit and demonstrates basic skills and knowledge needed to deliver basic construction documents for a residential project.

this commercial project was completed as a complex project used to exhibit structural knowledge and component use in a revit project.

this revit project was created to exhibit the use of complex topography as well as creating buildings from a massing and creating unique and original materials.

detailing construction documents the following details and construction documents exhibit competency in autocad and show attention to detail, as well as proficiency in notation, dimensioning, and the ability to understand construction formations and how they interact with each other.
