FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
ACTIVITIES OF THE FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
• Preparation of architecture and planning related projects, which requires the inclusion of students analysing large amounts of information and finding the possible alternative solutions. Some examples of conducted work:
4
• Aiapass – Garden Passport The aim of the project is to offer a garden planning concept, along with proposals for the installation of functions, decorative elements and landscaping elements. The programme offers flexible and diverse solutions for different types of land plots. The structure and contents of the programme were developed by TTK architecture students and partner organisations.
5
• Bird watching tower The goal of the project was to design and construct an architectural object serving a social function. The tower was designed and built by TTK student teams, using various possibilities of TTK laboratories. • Ihaste residential area in Tartu This project involved the preparation of planning proposals and designing of apartments for the Ihaste residential area in cooperation with a partner company and the Department of Urban Planning, Land Survey and Use of Tartu.
