THE CRESCENT

1.a

1

The crescent is a chair that personifies an embrace , with a unique edgy two component frame, and a warm cosy upholstery. Design Inpired by the comfort and bows that we see in crescent moon .

Ideation & Development

It has a rare oddity that blends with modern possessions but gives a classic vibe. The bows of the crescent exude furtuistic aesthetics with an inviting feel.

LEAFIRE

2.a

2

The lamp is designed and manufactured with all modern manufacturing techniques. The designed lamp is made using acrylic sheet, 10 x 10 walnut block, FDM and brass rods for assembly of the lamp. The leafire is a combination of leaf which is known for its scientific property of photosynthesis and fire which gives light. The tiny beautiful embossed leaf made out of acrylic envelops the curved walnut wood and is supported by a tapered brass support.

Ideation & Development

Sketching and developing stage of this lamp evolved from a horizontal log with inserted leaves to a verticle free standing leaf which illuminated into light.

THE SOUL

3

Ideation & Development

To create a perfect space in harmony with the desire for solitude and focus where one can find its spot to relax and disconnect from the world. The vignette intends to satisfy the psychological human need to find oneself and be focused on what an individual desires in his or her life. It gives that one moment where one can go into the state of self realization and get disconnected from the demands of the society.

4 Like we see in the process of photosynthesis , a leaf or a stem bending towards the direction of light, a similar concept can be seen in this simple yet modern design of a lamp showing the stem and its bend further emiting the light

Designing this sidetable was just another idea which struck my mind . The challenge was to balance the table considering three support points. But that did not stop me from continuing with the design that I had in my mind with a little bit of twirks and modification and the final outcome made was succesful.

Project Brief Project Area : 1924 Sq. Ft Location : Mumbai An exhibit area of 50,000 Sq. Ft. was taken up , out of which Jesons Industries Pvt. Ltd. was one of the pavillions to be designed. Jeson Industries is into various platforms such as constructions, paints, adhesives etc. The client wanted to keep a transperent relationship between the industry and its clients and hence one important feature in the space of 1924 Sq. JESON INDUSTRIES

The raised platform creates two different spaces with a passage in between. The passage has been created as an interactive passage where in the clients can drop in their buisness cards, queries , feedback forms and also refer through the coplaced inside the cylinders. The rest of the open waiting/discussion area was created around the raised laboratory so that the customers get a clear view of the work carried out in the laboratory .
