S M E N T E R TA I N M E N T RE-BRANDING PROJECT Personal Project | 2016

/inf omatio n SM Entertainment (SM 엔터 테인먼트) is a South Korean entertainment company established in 1995. It is currently one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea. The company operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house. /obje ctive SM Artists are always my favourite ones in Korean music. Re-designing SM brand identity with a completely different style is not only a hobby but also a way to improve my personal skills and sense of art.

/SM T HE COL L ECTION LYRIC BO O K The lyrics book consists of 22 songs in the disc. In Kpop culture, each idol group has his own color which represents the group. In details, the colors of SM artists are listed below: BoA (pearl yellow), DBSK (pearl red), TRAX (pearl cobalt blue), CSJH The Grace (pearl pink), Super Junior (pearl sapphire blue), Girls’ Generation (pastel rose), SHINee (pearl aqua green), f(x) (pearl light periwinkle), EXO (grey) and Red Velvet (coral pink). Each page is designed with the typical color of the group who performs the song.

TA C K E A R T S T O R E PROJECT Assignment | 2016

/in f oma tion “Tac Ke Artstore” project is developed for selecting and introducing good art tools to ones who work in creative field. The word “Tac Ke” is a Vietnamese word which means “Chameleon”. Main concept flowing through the whole publication is “Jungle”. In that spirit, we choose to create a logo that clearly shows typical symbols of tropical forest: the chameleon and the palm leaf. Colors used in logo design are the shades of three primary colors in fine art and painting.

/P O STE R DE SIGN Poster of “Tac Ke Artstore� project focuses on the value customers get when they use art tools. This poster shows the two contrary dances: the acedamic ballet with lots of rules and the wild samba with free movings. In that spirit, we gently advise customers to live their own life in a free way and not to be limited by any rules or standards. We use two pieces of color: a ballet dancer in black-and-white color, which is contrary to the wild and gaudy samba dress in tropical color palette..

/CATALOGUE DESIGN “Tac Ke Artstore� project was built up to select and introduce the best art tools to ones working in creative field. Based on this goal, we decided to design and publish a catalogue to provide complete information about our products. Focusing on beautiful images and amazing tropical texture, this catalogue was not only a commercial collection but also a creative design work. With these elements, we told a story about how an artwork was completed. The texture was just black and white sketch at first pages. Then it became more colorful page by page and ended up with a lively jungle at final pages. This jungle was colored with shades of red, yellow and blue.

Freelance Project | 2017 /i n fo m a tion KIOBI is a women’s clothing brand located in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition to flower textures, they chose the color of nude pink for themselves to express the femenine properties. T hus, this grand opening set was designed with nude pink as the main color and soft green as the second one.

Freelance Project | 2017 /infomation Located in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Timber House Coffee is an ideal place to meet friends and enjoy drinks together. Their signature is healthy drinks, which are the mixture of different fruits and vegetables. Bright colors are used in the menu to show the “fresh and healthy� property of served drinks.

Freelance Project | 2018 /infomation PlantripCha is an international tea brand based in Ho Chi Minh City. Tea comes from a variety of countries such as India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, China, Vietnam, etc and is exported to all over the world.

The website was be informative enough for the end users/viewers to know brief of the various services and its prices and the availability. A logo of the company was developed and used inside the site.
