Saturday 18th June

Built in 1816, Brixton Windmill reopened to the public in 2011, after restoration. There are potential dangers to visiting the site, including steep ladders, low beams and heavy machinery. It's also a small space, so the number of visitors at any one time is restricted.

When we went there in April everyone had a good time! The food has some similarities to Turkish and Middle Eastern food and is delicious. You can take your own wine!

This celebrates the Queen’s Official Birthday, held in June when the weather is nicer (maybe). Her real birthday is in February! There will also be a RAF fly-past.

London has been the setting and often the star - of films for over 100 years. The new London Film Museum in Covent Garden provides an outstanding location, displaying highlights of London’s screen history, and its vibrant present.
