Why a new generation of mobile protective devices?

Almost everyone is familiar with this situation: There’s a lot of traffic on the motorway and one truck after the other is queuing up in the right lane. Then you get to a construction site with narrow lanes. The left lane is suddenly too narrow for a car with a total width of more than two metres, a criteria that most vehicles meet nowadays.

The driver becomes uncertain or even fearful, because he feels trapped between the truck on the right side and the wide protective wall on the other.

This situation can quickly result in an accident.

Because the width of the lanes is defined only a narrower protective wall can create more space and thus more safety.

German lawmakers are attempting to keep up with this in future by revising related regulations and reducing the approved width to 30 cm - a challenge that NisTech has successfully met with the Hybrid-Pro 600.

Easy handling, fast and safe to set up

Time is safety – the sooner a protective barrier can be in place, the safer the hazardous workplace.

One truck (40 t) can transport up to 10 Hybrid-Pro 600 barriers to their place of deployment.

The barriers may be offloaded and placed in position safely and quickly using special lifting gear (spreader bar).

Rope slings or eye bolts are screwed into the threads provided for offloading and installation and hooked into the spreader bar.

Fast and safe unloading and installing is ensured.

Set up well thought out down to the smallest details

Special lifting gear (spreader bar) lifts the Hybrid-Pro 600 from the transport vehicle onto the road...

... for easy positioning by the installation team.

A guide ensures that the Hybrid-Pro 600 elements are quick and easy to assemble.

Due to identical design of the ends‌

The main components are connected using a rod/hole system and connecting element.

The connecting element is to this end placed on the butt joint of the main elements, form-fit...

...alignment can be ignored.

...and connected using two force-locking bolts.
