TANGRA was recovered in 1989 by Dipl. Eng. July Armianov. His father founded the commercial and production company TANGRA-Lazar Armianov in the late 1930’s. After WW II the company was nationalized by the government and private business was forbidden till 1989. Today, the company is specialized in ventilation, heating and air conditioning equipment and engineering. TANGRA employs approximately 140 people and has industrial facilities with total floor area around 5000 sq. m. In the portfolio of the company are also own designer bureau, installing and service department, HVAC laboratory and 3 commercial and consultative centers in Bulgaria. TANGRA is family owned company and is managed in constant striving for energy efficient equipment and projects, innovation, and last but not least high quality standards.

Certifi cates and Awards TANGRA AHU RANGE

Our air handling units are tested for the housing characteristics and performance by TUV Rehinland. The testing standards certify the units according to EN 1886, EN 13053,VDI 6022, DIN 1946-4, etc. The European regulation and Ecodesign directives are implemented in the production of TANGRA. Air handling units are produced according to EU1253/2014 for non-residential; EU1254/2014 for residential and EU directive 2009/125/EU for electrical components. In all activities of TANGRA Quality Management System ISO 9001 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001 are implemented. In addition to the systems, the management, the production and the engineering have constant policy for improvement of products and services, in order to increase the satisfaction of our customers. All products of TANGRA comply with the applicable EU directives, regulations and laws. Air handling units are marked with CE according to 2006/42/EU

TANGRA AHU Family TANGRA Air handling units are developed to cover the needs of ventilation, heating and air conditioning of a wide variety of commercial and industrial buildings.

TANGRA Modular air handling units combine the flexibility of large range of components and suit the most diverse requirements of each ventilation system. These units are produced with casing based on HYG40 and HYG60 profiles and panels. Bottoms are made of stainless steel with 3D condensing vanes. The space needed for cleaning and increased hygienic requirements are also carefully calculated in order to comply with DIN, VDI and RLT demands. In recent years, the need for complete ventilation and air conditioning solution impose the built in direct expansion sections in the air handling units. TANGRA air handling units are designed with 4 different built in DX options for gentle cooling or heating air conditioning system to reach highest EERs & COP. TANGRA AHU RANGE TANGRA Air Handling Units are produced in 4 different housing modifications to meet the various needs of the customers` projects. Modules can be arranged to fit the available space, providing the optimum size and efficiency at the same time. Easy assembly, installation and commissioning are guaranteed by the expertise in engineering and customized solutions

Casing The construction is based on specialized frames of aluminum profiles and corners. The panels are double wall (sandwich type) with an integrated thermal and sound insulation of mineral wool with density 65kg/m3. Outer and inner surfaces of the panels are made of hot-dip galvanized steel, outside powder coated. The housing frames are in 4 different models: •

ST 25 – 25mm panels

ST 50 – 50mm panels

HYG 40 – 40mm panels (hygienic version)

HYG 60 – 60mm panels (hygienic version)

Base frame The base frames are produced in hot-dip galvanized steel with powder coated. Specialized fork lift openings and crane opening are made in order to assure easy lifting, installation and commissioning at the project site.

Access doors Access doors are smooth inside with powder coated painting and specialized door handles in order to assure tight closure of the panel and convenient opening. All revision doors that allow access in the unit are equipped with handles for opening from inside according to VDI 3803. Locking device for safe access in the unit is also provided for revision doors

Inspection windows Inspection window for visual check and light protaction for hygienic version. 10

Outdoor versions All housing types are produced for internal and external installations. The outer skin is made of hot-dip galvanized steel with powdercoated, according to VDI 3803. A weatherproof roof with overhand and drip edge is installed on each upper section of the unit and joints between the roofs are supplied, according to VDI 3803.

Bottom plates The bottom plates are produced in hot-dip galvanized steel. All floors are with smooth surface allowing cleaning with dry wipe. All bottom plates for the hygiene and clean room version are made of stainless steel with higher inclination to the drainage in order to allow cleaning with detergents (HYG 40 and HYG 60).

Condensation tray Cooling sections are equipped with special 3D condensation tray for precise drainage.

Hygienic & Clean Room versions All air handling units of TANGRA can be ordered according to the standards VDI 6022 and DIN 1946-4. This is a guarantee for compliance with DIN, VDI, RLT association and all hygiene certification requirements. For clean rooms and hospitals are applicable only units with construction designs, based on HYG 40 and HYG 60 frames.

Filter section Fresh and filtrated air is crucial for healthy indoor environment. The aim of air filtration in TANGRA Air Handling Units is to protect humans` health and providing good hygiene and clean indoor air quality. Standardized diversity of filters according to EN 779 (2012) and EN ISO 16890 (2016) are incorporated in the air handling units of TANGRA. The optimized filter sections assure larger filter areas, longer lifetime and low pressure loss. Increased energy efficiency and lower costs on maintenance are achieved

Meats hygienic requirements of VDI 6022

Air filters (EN 779 & ISO 16890) •

Panel filters are made of zig-zag filter material for larger filter surface in compact installation. Suitable for coarse filter like G2, G3 and G4 (EN779) or ePM10 (ISO 16890)

Mini pleat filters are with few times the bigger media area compared to the standard panel filter. They are characterized with lower pressure drop and higher efficiency due to the special form. Class efficiency M5, M6, F7, F8 and F9 (EN779) or ePM10 (ISO 16890)

Bag/Pocket filters consist of filter bags made of synthetic fiber or glass fiber media. They are suitable for fine filtration. Containing high dust holding capacity due to enlarged filter area with low initial pressure. Class efficiency M5, M6, F7, F8 and F9 (EN779) or ePM10 and ePM2.5 (ISO 16890)

Electrostatic filters are composed of polarized ionizing electrodes and collection plates. They have constant low pressure drop and high efficiency. The efficiency decrease during time of usage. They are certified according to ISO 16890 and have class of filtration ePM1.

TANGRA Service: Following our motto: “With care for your comfort!” our well trained experts will guide you through every step of your project or business need - from developing of an assignment, preparation of financial-economic analysis between possible solutions, constructive documentation, production, delivery and installation, commissioning, hygienic checks under VDI6022, monitoring and precise setting up, maintenance and repairs, consultancy and retrofitting. •

Consultancy

TANGRA team provides visits to the site, capturing and analyzing of all possible solutions. We present the investors and architects different HVAC proposals and discuss the criteria for selecting the correct solution. Comparable feasibility check with technical-economical analysis including life cycle cost on different systems including energy efficiency is offered to investors. •

Commissioning

TANGRA has specialized installing department for project execution in Bulgaria and installation supervision or chief installation for partners abroad. The team can provide all the needed services and take care of the responsibilities for organizing supplies of elements and systems, executing the mechanical works, according to a schedule, providing on-site tests and integration of the HVAC systems with the building management system (BMS). Startup and precise tuning after all construction and installation activities are also provided by TANGRA installation team. •

Monitoring

We provide our air handling units and systems with TANGRA smart control, which allows us remotely to monitor and tune the parameters of your system in order to assure optimized system performance. •

Maintenance

TANGRA provides warranty and after warranty service and maintenance of ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems and equipment, as well as local extraction and gas heat pumps. Company’s service and maintenance teams are focused on regular preservation of the reliability of HVAC installations. Our experienced specialists are on customer’s disposal 24/7 on hot line.
