Daniel J. O’Brien President

Thank You 2016 has been a very good year for Town & Country Club. Membership numbers have been strong all year, golf rounds and revenue were up over 2015, the number of people using our pool and tennis courts has increased and our numbers are up in food & beverage revenue for both member dining and banquets. All in all, 2016 will go down as one of the most successful years in the long history of our club. As I finish my term as your club President, I can’t help but think about all of the people I have worked with at the club and have made my experience so enjoyable and rewarding. I would personally like to thank the following individuals: Jessica Brandt’s (Membership & Marketing Director) work with the membership committee has been exemplary. Our membership numbers

Executive Chef 651-659-2542 | over the years, the holidays make me think of roasted items such as roasted beef and savory stews with scallion dumplings and braised vegetables. The cold is just getting started and warm cozy foods are here to stay for a few months. I remember when growing up the family would always have a soup course, such as barley mushroom sauerkraut soup, as well as garlicy stewed chicken with herbal biscuits. Though out the month, the kitchen will be featuring some entrée soups with crusty grilled olive oil basted breads. Add a protein if you like David A. cooking Italian style foods. The thought of serving a family style meal is exciting to me, with some selections of meats as well as salads and desserts. Look for the “Sunday Dinner” in the upcoming weeks. The Sunday dinner is a tradition with one pot cookery that contains pork, sausage, meatballs, and pasta served with fresh bread. We will be serving this dinner on a Wednesday or Thursday night since we will not be open on Sunday nights. I look forward to expressing some of my styles of food in the upcoming weeks. If you have any requests or special food concerns, please feel free to contact me at the club.
