Hus was burned at the stake on July 6, 1415. His followers would later form the Unity of Brethren in 1457 which then became the Moravian Church in 1727. Please donate small toys, toiletries, etc. for Operation Christmas Child. Our youth will fill the gift boxes this Friday. Last year your bountiful donations enabled our youth to fill 43 gift boxes!

Willing Workers Circle has changed the meeting time to 6:30 p.m. this Thursday at the home of Pam Ellis.

If you are a visitor, please sign the guest book in the vestibule and fill out a blue visitor’s card and place it in the offering plate. Before the service speak to the Lord; during the service let the Lord speak to you; and after the service speak to one another.

This Friday is Christmas In July. All ages of young people and their friends need to sign up on the bulletin board. We will have supper, music, games and fun fellowship. Best of all, we will introduce Jesus to poor children by filling gift boxes to be distributed around the world. Rising 6th graders and up are invited to stay for the Lock-In. T-shirts (blue or pink) with a Moravian seal on the front and outline of the state of NC with a Moravian star and “North Carolina Moravians” on the back are for sale for $12. Proceeds go towards the mission trip. Pastor Allen will leave this Saturday to attend the Moravian Music Festival the following week in Bethlehem, PA.
