January 27, 2011

To Whom it May Concern: WPIRG is a non-profit social and environmental justice organization located at the University of Waterloo. Our organization is a strong supporter of social justice issues around the world. WPIRG endorses the International Tamil Rights Week 2011. After reviewing the information package about Tamil Rights Week, we are convinced that having an annual International Tamil Rights Week will not only bring together a solidarity movement supporting the principles of Tamil nation, homeland and self determination in Sri Lanka but it will also raise awareness to the dire human rights situation in this island. We hope that our endorsement will further the efforts to bring justice in an island that continues to endure a brutal ethnic conflict despite the end to the civil war. Sincerely, Erin Oldynski Coordinator of Programming and Volunteer Support WPIRG
