appy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your time with Family and Friends this holiday season. Make your own Cranberry Sauce with the help of the Pioneer Woman. Wash 12 oz of cranberries under cool water, and then dump into a medium saucepan. Pour in 1 cup of cranberry juice or whatever juice you choose. Pour in 1 cup real maple syrup. Add orange juice (you could also do orange zest, lemon zest, lemon juice – anything citrusy). Stir together and turn heat on high until it reaches a boil. Once it comes to a rolling boil, turn the heat down to medium low and continue cooking over lower heat for about 10 minutes or until the juice is thick. Turn off the heat. Stuffed with Love is back! The library is collecting new stuffed animals to donate to the Tri-County Children’s Advocacy Center. The Tri-County Children’s Advocacy Center provides free services to over 300 children per year who have been abused, neglected, or witnessed a violent crime. The councilors at the Advocacy center do an astonishing job of helping these kids. Once the interview is over the children can pick out a stuffed animal to take home. Stop in to the library to donate a Stuffed Animal the The library is closed Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 24-27 and will reopen on Monday, Nov. 28 for regular business.
