A viola instrument came along at the same time as the violin. It first existed during the 16th century. It was larger than the violin and was made in an alto and a tenor version, which was larger. By the 18th century, it was part of four piece ensembles. However, with the increase popularity of music written specifically for the violin, the viola started to be ignored. Therefore, the violins were improved much faster than the violas. In fact, by the 18th century the design of the violin had been perfected. The viola has yet to reach this pinnacle.

Trombone Romeo & Juliet x 2, Cigar Cutter, Humipack, Black Label, Di Saronno â‚Ź
The trombone is derived from an instrument called a sackbut. Yes, you read that correctly, sackbut. The name sackbut is derived from the Middle French words saquer and bouter literally means “pull, push. This is a very fitting name for the instrument since it was the first instrument to have a movable slide. This is unique to the instrument. The sackbut was mainly used in sacred and court music settings during the 1600s. Interestingly, the trombone has changed very little since its precursor, the sackbut. Many other instruments have been improved with major revisions to their original design. Apparently, trombone was the closest to perfection!
Conductor Champagne Lanson, Celeste, Gianduiotti, Montecristo
Conducting is the art of directing a musical performance by way of visible gestures. The primary duties of the conductor are to unify performers, set the tempo, execute clear preparations and beats, and to listen critically and shape the sound of the ensemble. Orchestras, choirs, concert bands and other musical ensembles often have conductors.
Double Bass Romeo & Julliet x 2, Cigar Cutter, Humipack, Gragnavo wine, Grappa Pol
bowed stringed musical instrument, the contrabass of the modern orchestral string section. It originated as a double-bass viol, an instrument described as early as 1566. A true double-bass violin appeared during the 18th cent. but was rejected as unwieldy and of poor tonal quality. The present double bass is tuned in fourths and usually has a flat back and sloping shoulders but has never attained a definitive form. The bow, the last to give up its convex shape, was long held palm upward like the viol bow, but the violin style is now customary. Indispensable in the orchestra, it also has a place in the dance band and jazz.
