THE EXPERIMENTAL ART FOUNDATION AIMS TO PROVIDE A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE INSPIRED BY THE TRANSFORMATIVE NATURE OF THE COAL LOADER'S TUNNELS; THE INTENSITY OF LIGHT AND DARKNESS, AND HOW WE USE THESE TO GAUGE SPACE AND TIME, AIDED BY THE HYPNOTIC SOUNDS OF WATER.

IN THE 21ST CENTURY WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEE ART AS WE HAVE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE. WITH THE INVENTION OF THE CAMERA, WE ARE ABLE TO TAKE ART OUT OF THE CONTEXT IN WHICH IS RESIDES AND PROVIDE A STATIC PERCEPTION, BE IT CROPPED, OUT OF CONTEXT, TOO FAR AWAY OR WARPED. A LARGE PART OF SEEING IS HABIT AND CONVENTION, AND HENCE, WITH EVERY IMAGE, THE EXPERIENCE SHAPES IT'S MEANING. IT'S UNIQUENESS IS A PART OF THE SINGLE UNIQUENESS OF THE SPACE WHERE IT IS. THE EXPERIMENTAL ART FOUNDATION AIMS TO CHANGE TO THE WAY WE SEE ART IN A CONVENTIONAL GALLERY BY REMOVING CONTROLLED VARIABLES; PRIMARILY LIGHT, DARKNESS AND SPACE. UNIQUE OPENINGS SHIFT THE LIGHT WITHIN AND PERMEATING FROM A SPACE, CHANGING THE WAY WE VIEW EACH PIECE. THE UNIQUE SPACES ALLOW ARTISTS TO SHAPE THE VIEWER'S EXPERIENCE OF THE ART; IF THEY WANT THE USER TO VIEW THE ART WORK FROM AFAR AND COME IN CLOSER, OR VICE VERSA. FURTHER, THE UNIQUE SPACES ALTER THE LIGHT AND DARKNESS WITHIN THE SPACE.
