From foundation in 1988 TAG has focused on delivering design and maintenance services for all types of catering equipment and any situation. Our talented team has a reputation for specialising in non- standard installations and meeting the challenges of complex bespoke high-end projects and offer a full turnkey service. TAG’s in-house design team and researchers scour the globe for new concepts, innovative equipment and technologies that keep us at the leading-edge of the industry and able to match our clients’ changing concepts and menus. We have strong long-term partnerships with many of the world’s leading professional catering equipment manufacturers who have reputations for innovation and sustainability, allowing us to be a market leader in providing ecologically sound solutions. A project doesn’t end after installation, it is passed to our service team who provide after sales care and planned preventative maintenance. The service team use specialist service software for fast efficient repairs, provide digital worksheets, engineer tracking and a full appliance history to achieve optimal operational performance for our clients. TAG’s full complement of services for the professional food service environment is based on the integrity and customer-focused values that were our starting inspiration. Our client list has some of the most respected restaurants, hotels and catering operations in the UK and many have been with us since we started over 30 years ago.


Design


Procuring a new commercial kitchen can be a daunting process, but whatever the size of the project TAG has a first class design team to help you, alongside our highly experienced engineers and office support. We work directly with owners, architects, consultants and major corporate clients to design kitchen solutions and take them to final handover, meeting deadlines and budgets. TAG has delivered projects in all market sectors, from a small local restaurant to complete kitchen refurbishments in five star hotels. One of our strengths is we are not tied to single manufacturers and are free to specify the most suitable equipment for your project. Additionally, practical knowledge gained through maintenance and repair services means we know what equipment is most reliable, easy to use and maintain. Whatever your project size, cost, or factors such as being energy consumption driven, we can develop the right solution for you.


3D DESIGN CONCEPTS & VISUALISATION Working with us starts with a consultation, we take into account every small detail, from the operation’s menu and project budget through to site restrictions and your views on colour schemes etc. From here we move on to a design concept, presenting our recommendations using 3D software and real walkthroughs. The 3D drawing gives you a visualization of every detail of how your new kitchen will look and feel once installed. Aesthetics and ergonomics are crucial in the impact and function of your kitchen, our philosophy is to create a kitchen that works well, is flexible for future changes and a pleasure to work in.

DETAILED MANUFACTURING & CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS After developing the initial design concept our in-house team produce detailed drawings showing every element of the kitchen, so nothing is missed and everything fits and has its own place. The detailed construction drawings improve the efficiency and speed of the installation and also avoid any potentially costly changes after the project’s completion. These drawings are prepared for all mechanical and electrical (M&E) and construction elements of a project enabling the client to tender for the work in detail depending on their requirements.

From the brief and client’s desired menu, we can produce full detailed specifications for complete kitchen projects or oneoff pieces of equipment.


DESIGN TO INSTALLATION Working with us starts with a consultation taking into account everything from the operation’s menu and project budget through to site restrictions and your views on colour.

AFTER-SALES TRAINING As a dedicated service TAG offer equipment training and ongoing service with maintenance to help the operator’s site run seamlessly right from the start. We also support the operator’s site as it develops, due to expanding trade, factors such as staff and menu changes, with any additional training so that any operational developments are handled with minimal impact and cost.

Consisting of builders, welders, plumbers, electricians and catering equipment engineers we can carry out all projects in house, whilst meeting the tightest deadlines and project budgets. TAG’s experienced team work closely with manufacturers, end users and consultants, to undertake all kinds of installation. TAG’s dedicated Service Department streamline this process placing the call and taking care of the issue right through to any maintenance or repair being completed. MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS A TAG Maintenance Contract is a great choice to improve the efficiency of your equipment and reduce the down time caused by any potential equipment failure. Whatever maintenance contract you choose gives complete reassurance that your kitchen will run smoothly. SERVICE ENGINEERS Our engineers are trained to industry, and our own professional company, standards, regularly attending manufacturers’ training courses to ensure they keep up-to-date with the latest products and repair procedures. TAG’s engineers are employed directly by us, are fully conversant with current health and safety regulations and are CSCS qualified. We have specialist engineers that cover all types of commercial catering equipment including: Warewashing Gas Equipment – Ranges, Woks, Gas Combination Ovens, Fryers, Bratt Pans Induction Microwaves Vac Pac Machines Combination Ovens Refrigeration Welders

SPARES With years of experience servicing a whole range of equipment for customers across the varied sectors in foodservice we have the right stock in the field, on engineer’s vans and in our warehouse to guarantee exceptional first fix rates. We also have strong links with Europe and can source parts direct from manufacturers, instead of going through third party suppliers. This is particularly invaluable when parts need to be sourced for non-standard equipment that may be old, custom-made or unbadged.

Our unique bar systems enable designs that are very versatile to cope with the ever changing needs of a bar. TAG offers modular and bespoke fitted systems that can cater for the really varied demands of the bar environment. The design of each bar is really important to support the aesthetics and ergonomics, but also crucial for the speed and efficiency of service.

TAG offers modular and bespoke fitted systems that can cater for the really varied demands of the bar environment. The design of each bar is really important to support the aesthetics and ergonomics, but also crucial for the speed and efficiency of service. We offer full 3D designs for this to make sure every section of the bar is optimized.


Cafes & Canteens


TAG’s industry knowledge enables us to help develop the growing number of small start-up cafÊs into larger roll-outs and multiples. We have worked with major chains on their launches so we have a wealth of knowledge in how to progress to the next stage.


Vital to the success of cafÊ’s and canteens is the visual impact of the space and how the front-of-house meets the back-of-house. Our in-house design team has a passion for creating visual impact with interior designers to help develop beautiful, creative solutions that combine the two spaces seamlessly.


Hotels


TAG has been working with large hotels, especially five star, in London and Europe since 1988 and earnt a reputation for the high quality service demanded by these sites. A great example is Dorchester Hotel; TAG has just replaced the kitchen some 30 years after we installed the original! We have been maintaining and servicing the equipment throughout the intervening years, demonstrating just how important correct maintenance and servicing is to equipment working optimally and extending life.


Our service & maintenance background enables us to perfectly understand the requirements of demanding sites like The Dorchester Hotel, and working as consultants for many hotel groups we deliver a full tender package for the design/fit-out for both the main kitchens, plus the restaurants and bars they offer.


Restaurants


We work with a huge range of different projects from small self-owned restaurants to large chains and Michelin starred restaurants. We have won multiple awards for our projects, for example OXO Tower, London. Here we produced one of the most ecological kitchens in the UK by using the latest refrigeration and induction technology, all remotely monitored.


Careful design and planning allowed the most technologically advanced equipment, including a TCS (Total Control Remote Monitoring System) to be included within the scheme and to budget. The TCS system allows all appliances including the refrigeration and extraction to talk to a main control which in turn monitors the power usage of all equipment at 70% less than the manufacturers’ power loadings, resulting in substantial energy savings. The system also constantly monitors the working kitchen and detects possible faults before they develop; alerting both the client and service team via the Internet. An engineer can be dispatched with specific expertise and parts, eliminating a site diagnostic and allowing TAG to provide excellent after-sales service and support.
