Recognition of Prior Learning Through Recognition of Prior Learning your existing skills, knowledge and experience are recognised and credited towards a formal qualification. Previous experience can include study, work or even volunteering. So whether you are already working in an industry and would like the formal qualification or you are looking to gain employment in an industry that you have previously tested the waters in, TAFE can show you the right path for you and your skills.

QTAC For some of our programs you will need to apply directly to Queensland Tertiary Admission Centre (QTAC) at www.qtac.edu.au If your application to enrol in a program of study is successful you will receive an acceptance letter and email. Closing dates and timelines are outlined on the QTAC website.

TAFE Queensland East Coast students can now access VET FEE-HELP, a financial assistance scheme available to assist eligible students studying higher level Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications to pay their tuition fees.
