Solar power parks are to be established and steps will also be taken to establish wind power parks for the purpose of generating renewable energy.
A comprehensive mechanism to deliver energy efficiency services will be developed to curtail energy waste in industrial and commercial sectors. Through this mechanism, all major energy consumers will designate an energy manager for the efficient operation of processes and buildings. Electricity usage will be reduced through the installation of LED lighting, solar and wind power systems in place of the existing street lights. Electrification of rail transportation will be pursued, with the intention of gaining independence from the total dependency of the sector on liquid fossil fuels.
