FACULTY Faith Shotts-Flikkema has been selected to attend the prestigious 2013 Presidential Timeline Summer Teacher Institute in Los Angeles, CA. During the conference, Flikkema will participate in lectures, discussions, and primary source analysis relating to energy and environmental policy as well as engage in discussion and practice concerning the effective integration of historical thinking and primary sources into the social studies classroom. Faith is an instructor in the Associate of Science in Human Services and Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Dr. John Obradovich was recently published in the International Journal of Business and Globalisation. Obradovich’s article, Corporate Governance, Institutional Ownership, and Potential Growth of US Firms, can be downloaded here.


ALUMNI Governor Rick Snyder has appointed PGS alumna Jessica Taylor to the Commission on Community Action and Economic Opportunity. In this position, she will work to reduce the causes and effects of poverty as well as promote self-sufficiency and economic opportunity. While studying at Cornerstone University, Jessica received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA. Click here to learn more about Jessica’s new position.
