the wow factor Color surrounds us, and the state of color is continuously moving forward and changing based on our mindset, lifestyle and design trends. And for many of us, certain colors create our happy place. In 2014, blue still reigns supreme. Page 2 Design revealed major blue phases – like rich, saturated colors of navy and indigo to bright, vibrant shades of peacock blue and cobalt. While soft blues have long been our signature choice in our coastal community and a reflection of water all around us, we’re seeing bolder shades of blue coming into play. One of Page 2 Design team’s favorite projects this year is a prime example of the use of dynamic blues accented by fun, punchy colors. The Master Bedroom was one aspect of our client’s whole-home renovation.

Eclectic art coupled with an exquisite design palette that complements sweeping oceanfront views are “wow” factors that make this a fitting project for the debut issue of elements! This particular client is also an art collector. Their artwork was of vital importance to the interior design. The Master Bedroom palette echoes the colors and textures of the paintings. Following are a few project details. • Custom Bedding incorporates our signature sea palette with warm inviting pops of color and personality • Euro shams trimmed in silk tape trim highlight the gold tones of the custom raffia-covered bench and bedside tables • Custom tufted headboard has a slight hint of metallic sheen • Wing-back chairs covered in soft chenille fabric and bronze nail heads enhance Page 2 Design’s signature wall color

• Custom window treatments include raffia-covered cornices and sheer lined panels that hide blackout panels—conveniently accessed by remote control • Ceiling is tongue-and-groove, a theme found throughout the main floor

a bold online look This year was the time to update our website. Okay, it was far more than a few updates. We completely renovated it! The new site is clean, bright and easy to navigate. You’ll love our online Design Book with jaw-dropping images of our many residential projects. We even made it more convenient by dividing the portfolios by rooms, versus whole-home sections. That way, you can search for inspiration based on your specific needs.
