elcome fellow cattlemen to the Cattle Capital Bull Sale in Ste. Rose du Lac, MB! As consignors, we are excited about starting this new event in Manitoba’s Cattle Capital at the friendly confines of the Ste. Rose Auction Mart.

COnsignors...

It was a challenging past 12 months in the area, with above average summer moisture and an early fall calf market that saw its ups and downs. However, the market has stabilized, this Manitoba winter hasn’t had the same teeth as prior years, and all signs point to positive trends.

We have a very strong set of bulls on offer for this sale and it can be a one stop shop for many commercial cattle operations. The consigned bulls are described as follows; Yearling Black Angus bulls that are moderate at birth, easy keeping but still loaded with performance out of the latest A.I. sires; Powerful yearling Charolais bulls with exceptional thickness and hair to create the buckskin/silver calves order buyers love; Yearling and two year old Simmental bulls that add muscle and performance in a maternal package; and two year old Gelbvieh & Balancer bulls with the extra age to cover more cows as well as adding more maternal strength to a crossbreeding system. As Cattle Capital Bull Sale consignors, we set our standards incredibly high to create functional cattle that will perform in any environment and we feel the sale offering exemplifies these high expectations.

We appreciate the strong local buyer support from our past sales and we feel the most important part of a successful sale is to have bulls that work effectively for producers in the area. These locally raised bulls are subjected to the same environmental and nutritional elements as your operation, which gives a producer added confidence in their purchase decision. There are enough variables that a producer must account for when selecting a new herdsire without having the added question of “Will this bull stand up in my environment?”
