Váci út – the road of offices Váci út, an arterial road connecting the centre of the city with the Northern districts, has become one of the most important and successful office locations in Budapest, thanks to significant development activity in the past ten years. Váci út has served as a major route in the last 150 years. It was in the second half of the 19 th century when a wave of industrial constructions gave the road its present architectural style. Today, monuments of modern businesses have replaced the symbols of early industrialisation. Just on the stretch between two major shopping centers, the Duna Plaza, and the Westend City Center, there are more than ten major office complexes. :: 9
